“Young families”
The hotel is ideal for families with young children. Playa Blanca is a quiet place and the hotel have many facilities and very friendly staff to make your stay comfortable. My two young children enjoyed Kikoland very much.
“Great Hotel, Great Staff”
We spent a week at this hotel. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff were superb. It was my wife's birthday during our stay and we were given a fantastic room with a beautiful sea view and treated to a bottle of Cava upon arrival. The location directly facing the beach, midway between the main town of Playa Blanca and the newer Marina area, is great with a short 5 minute stroll to either. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food provided to a very high standard. We like to try different restaurants at night so chose the Bed and Breakfast option. The hotel's restaurants did however seem more expensive than those in the town. In general the hotel is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone.
“lovely hotel, great food and good service”
Would recommend this hotel to any one with children of any age. although ours were'nt interested in the kids club there was plenty to do, the spa was excellent and the beach clean and sandy. We had a very relaxing break. Our only criticism is of other people's children running around unsupervised in the restaurants (amazingly not the English!)
“Great Hotel, Superb staff”
An excellent family hotel with great facilities for the children, super entertainment after 10:00 pm but far too many children running around during the cabaret, we would only reccommend this Hotel to those who have children. We felt the waiter drinks service roumd the pool was poor, more waiters needed. Overall however, we had an excellent holiday
“Great stay at the Princesa Yaiza”
My friend and I have just returned from a 4 night break at the Princesa Yaiza, and it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were large and comfortable and the whole experience was excellent. The buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had, with such a wide choice of food for all travellers. I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone and have done so with friends already.
“Great Hotel a European five star”
The hotel is spacious and quite large for the number of rooms. It's location is great as quiet but close to the town and the beach. The restaurants (a la carte) were great especially the Itallian! The staff were really friendly and all spoke clear English the ones who didn't quickly found someone who understood your requests. Our suite was large but compared to modern hotels it is slightly dated unlike the rest of the hotel. The room also had a full sized fridge microwave and a selection of glasses which is great if you fancy a drink on the balcony! The improvements could be made around the pool the service was a lilttle like a bus there's never one when you want it so my advice would be to just go to the pool bar yourself it's quicker! The life guards/pool attendents are helpful but you need to ask if you don't ask you don't get and the sun umbrella's are very heavy! As a Mum and Daughter travelling alone we had a great time it we felt safe and relaxed at this hotel having a really relaxing holiday!
“Marvellous”
Marvellous family friendly hotel in a superb location. The quality and choice of food at the breakfast buffet was exceptional.Swimming pools could be a bit warmer and the evening entertainment a bit livlier but these are only small points from what was a great Christmas holiday.
“Bush and Ethel stay at Princesa Yaiza”
The hotel is large and luxurious and has all the amenities expected of a five star hotel. It has the best location in Playa Blanca in my view, as it is directly in front of Playa Dorada, the big golden sandy beach in this resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the choice of three restaurants for breakfast and could choose to sit inside or outside if it was a warm morning. The only downside for us was that the hotel is not carpeted in the rooms or hallways and therefore we were disturbed by some noise early in the morning on a few occasions. The hotel was also very busy although it wasn't school holidays and this was a little unexpected. Overall, it is a great hotel and is good for couples, friends or families.
“Excellent hotel”
We spent a week at the Princesa Yaiza and had an excellent time. Very comfortable room (suite) with 2 large single beds (rather than double or king). Breakfast buffet was amazing with ample choice etc. It is rather busy though and at times it was difficult to get in the Hacienda restaurant for it (which is part open to the pool) and had to be indoors in one of the other restaurants. This is a massive hotel but, to be honest, it never felt that busy due to it's size. Very child friendly. The salt water pool was fairly cold (in March) but the other main pool was ok (just). There was always a fair breeze for the whole week, which while pleasant enough in the sun, did make it fairly cool if it clouded over. I suspect in the summer, any breeze will be very pleasant but at least one person felt it was too cold for what they had expected. Overall, very hard to fault the hotel and the staff were very friendly. We only ate in the hotel one evening (which was very nice in their Tapas restaurant) although the food/ drinks are a little pricey. Complimentary wifi was excellent and was only slow between 6-9pm when most people were probably using it. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and will likely visit again.
“Best Hotel”
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Staff very friendly. Superb location, facilities & Breakfast. Beautiful, airy surroundings & loved the tree filled area with decking & running water. We will definitely return. Appreciated the glass of champagne on arrival.

Playa Blanca, Yaiza, Spain: The original port and fishing village maintain an agreeable low-key buzz with good bars and restaurants, but it is the beaches that make Playa Blanca famous. West of the centre, on past the new and expanding fashionable Marina Rubicón, and a clutch of luxury hotels, lie the islands finest golden white coves, known collectively as the Papagayo beaches. Three small cafes are the only development in this protected area.
