“A very good hotel”
Everything was excellent. The location, the cleanliness, the standard of comfort and the breakfast.

Excellent hotel location near to centre. Very comfortable room, outstanding buffet breakfast, with very helpful and friendly staff.
“Well located good hotel”
I was very happy with this hotel. It is very well located just off the city center and just a short walk from the main bus/railway station. It was clean and modern and the rooms were a very good size and pleasant. Note they are not 'wow' rooms though! Our room was well decorated but in drab browns and beiges so there is little romance or style in the room if you are looking for a romantic weekend (but it is a business orientated hotel I guess). Staff were very helpful and the breakfast (in our overall charge) was very good quality.
“Great hotel, best location in Ljubljana”
Although an older hotel (one part was built in 1903 and the newer part in the 1960s or 1970s), the hotel has done a brillant job of converting an communist style building into a modern and comfortable hotel. The rooms are minimalist but have all the amenities. The hotel staff is amazingly knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, the hotel is just steps from the main attractions of the city. You couldn't find a better location.

“Grand Hotel Union Business”
I found this particular hotel of a high standard in a very central position close to the main sights. The room was very quiet with a view overlooking the city, the bathroom was very modern with an excellent shower and complimentary shampoo, shower gel, etc. The breakfast was excellent with a vast array on offer but I have to say that the coffee at breakfast was quite sickly. There is a small garden where you can just take coffee and lunch and dinner is available. There is a nice pool and small gym on the top floor with a balcony so you can sit outside as well I thouroughly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a central hotel close to all the sights that Ljubljana has to offer. The hotel is currently going under some refit and luckily my room had already been through that process.
“Excellent Location”
The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room was wonderful. Nice and large and airy, and Robes in the room which was a nice suprise. Everything was clean. The hotel is linked to Grand Hotel Union Executive and they have entrances and desks for each hotel - but you can use either at any time. But the best thing was walking out on our first evening and discovering that the main square/3 bridges/Canal was literally 200 metres away. It was fab to be able to wander in and out of the hotel all day. The hotel has a transfer bus to the airport for the return journey. It was a lot cheaper than a taxi (26 euros for 2 people) - a taxi was at least 40 euros for the car. The sum paid is on a sliding scale(downwards) depending on how many travelling - the details are in the main reception area.

“VERY IMPRESSED WITH GRAND HOTEL UNION BUSINESS”
Ideally situated in Ljubljana centre, but very peaceful & quiet due to excellent double glazing. Very comfortable and clean room. Service excellent, staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast brilliant, something for every taste, even 'champers'. Will certainly be first choice for any future visit.
“Great location in city”
Extremely happy with experience at hotel. We were in Ljubljana to meet a tour group and then a week later came back to spend a night at the hotel. The staff was great about keeping one piece of our luggage in storage for the week. Hotel is one block from river, shops, restaurants. Very professional staff. Good (with lots of variety) buffet breakfast.
