"For the cost of the hotel I expected better service. There was one waiter serving from the bar and we sat on the lawned terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to serve us so I had to ask reception to send someone. The spa is very old and desperately in need of a full refurbishment. "This was an excellent place for an overnight stay. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The only thing was they had forgotten to provide towels and toilet paper. This was easily sorted when we asked. We had an evening meal and breakfast, which were both good. We would stay here again"

"We stayed for one night while visiting Wales. The check in experience was fine and staff friendly. The room was OK - we could hear sounds from other rooms in the morning and the bathroom had mould spots near bath taps, but other than that it was clean and pretty comfortable.
