“Excellent and friendly service”
This hotel makes an excellent stopover on our trips between England and italy. The rooms are comfortable, staff friendly and efficient, and there is amble on site parking.
“Great for a stopover”
We stopped at the hotel when travelling by car from Italy to Luxembourg and we only needed a hotel in a good location regarding our travel plans with parking (there is a garage). It was great value for money as the hotel is a very nice business hotel - clean, efficient, comfortable. The room was nice and clean and quiet. I do not know anything regarding the immediate surroundings but the hotel was close enough to drive to Como city for a dinner (c.10-15 min drive). It did not seem that there is anything nice just walking distance from the hotel. For shopping: Expedia says that the Armani outlet is close but the hotel staff said it is not good and they recommended another outlet (Foxtown, in Mendrisio in Switzerland) around 20-25 min driving distance, which is supposedly amazing.
“Good location and on site parking”
We stay at this hotel when travelling between Shropshire and Umbria. It is located just off the A9 and has plenty of car parking. The rooms are well appointed and the room rate is both reasonable and inclusive of breakfast. IStaff are friendly and helpful. The immediate surroundings are nothing special consisting of private homes and roads. The noise from the latter can be intrusive but does not outweigh the other benefits it offers.
“Great! And...great value!”
The mattresses were very comfortable, the breakfast was impressive, the room was very clean and nice. Our only negative was that we had a hard time finding it because we were looking for "Lomazzo Fiera", but it seems to go by only "AS Hotel." Also, as other reviewers noted, it is about a 15 minute drive to the Milan airport. We were very satisfied and would certainly stay there again.
“Great hotel”
We stayed here to break up a long drive and it was the perfect hotel. Great, clean, big rooms, excellent breakfast and superb service. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.
“Modern and clean”
This hotel is nicely decorated. It is modern and clean. The rooms are a little dark but the size is very good. They have a good breakfast (included in my rate). The location is close to the highway and it is easy to find if you are driving. We did not walk around the area but it seems a little isolated. They have rooms with garage entrances right to your room. They did not explained to us how to use it so I don't know if there is an extra charge.
“Rather bizarre motel”
Located next to a highway,away from city The rooms that were booked as 4 stars were in fact motel room with bizarre lighting and mirrored ceilings. Breakfast rather basic and staff rather chilly. Room is small and is connected by a locked door to an adjacent room. The bathroom is fancy. Plenty of power outlets
“location is middle of nowhere”
We booked this hotel for a city break to Milan. This hotel location is very rural with no public transport links from nearest station to the hotel. The staff are slow and do not understand english. The positive is that the hotel is clean and comfortable -breakfast is excellent
