“Great for Gatwick”

we were surprised how good this Hotel was.Not your typical Airport hotel it was extremely well located..walk to check-in!, yet very well soundproofed,very clean rooms with every facility and pleasant ,helpful staff.Its weakest feature is rather unattractive cafe and restaurant although the breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was excellent.We will certainly stay there again

“Most helpful staff Convenient location for trains and planes!”

My husband and I received outstanding help from the hotel staff from finding a doctocr, to trains and activities in London. The concierge desk is second to none! We loved being able to take the train in to London and walking to our plane without the need for a cab.

“Short stay and a pleasant surprise.”

We checked in the evening before our flight out to the USA from Gatwick Airport. We were assigned a room, given a card for entry and proceeded to the correct number. When we were about to insert the card into the door slot the door opened and a gentleman came out. He was just leaving to go for a beer and snack. He said we were the second couple to have been assigned to his room and went down to the front desk to rectify the situation. It was a minor problem we resolved but we were given an up grade because of the mistake. It was a nice gesture on the clerks behalf and a pleasant surprise. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

“comfortable”

We stayed for one night only but despite our very short stay we found the hotel,staff and choices excellent. We had an evening meal in 'the carvery' which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was 'self service' which provided an excellent choice. The location of the hotel also excellent for catching flights. Yes, we would thoroughly recommend The Hilton at Gatwick.

“much bigger and nicer than a usual airport Hilton.”

I stayed in the newer wing of the hotel which was very nice - restaurant was very good, breakfast buffet is very good. Very typical, 4-5 star Hilton hotel, though much bigger and nicer than a usual airport Hilton. I would highly recommend it.
