My hotel stay this weekend was wonderful--except for checkin. I arrived a bit early for the 4 p.m. check-in time, and was asked to wait while my room was prepared, at which point the desk staff would call me. I waited for more than an hour (with no call), and noticed a growing lineup of people at the check-in desk, a line which extended out the hotel's entrance doors. It seems that many rooms were not yet ready (at close to 4:30), and people were waiting (wiith growing impatience) to check in. The desk staff were frantically contacting housekeeping, trying to find rooms that were ready. I have stayed at the Park Hotel several times, and this was the first time I have experienced such a lengthy and seemingly disorganized check-in. Despite this initial frustration, the rest of my stay was lovely, and the hotel is perfectly located for exploring downtown London, its restaurants and attractions.

This hotel was very clean and had a nice clean fresh scent. Staff very friendly. Bed sheets clean and fresh. The free breakfast was nice but could have offered a little bit more food options, ie like pancakes or scrambled eggs, sausages. Usual foods people eat for breakfast. Otherwise, was ok. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
