“Great mid-way point”
This was a nice place to stop on our way to Knoxville, Tennessee, from Pennsylvania.

Very nice and clean facility. Freindly employees and they keep the facility as neat and clean as possible. Great location in a historic portion of Virginia. Lots of history to explore.
“Great deal - nice place”
I would recommend this to anyone traveling on a budget. The room was in good condition and fairly clean if a little dated. The bathroom was a bit small and older but in OK condition. It appeared that the place was in the process of getting renovated (new tiling ready to be installed, exterior walls re-stuccoed.) It was extremely inexpensive and the surrounding area had some nice restaurants and excellent scenery. I have not complaints.
“Great choice in the Shenandoah Valley”
Based on some reviews on travel sites, I was a bit uncertain about making the reservation. I can report that apparently new management has turned this hotel around, keeping affordable rates and improving the enbtire facility. The room was very clean, great TV with a screen you can see from across the room, sufficient space in bathroom, new fixtures. Wonderfull view from balcony level, clean inviting swimming pool. Most of all, a professional staff. Easy access off Route 81 but close to downtown shops of New Market and countryside. A tremendous value.

I enjoyed my stay. The bed was big and nice. The area was perfect. If I am back in that area I will stay there.

This hotel is located in a smal beautiful town. Hotel is very clean with great views! Visit the caverns if you have time! Perfect getaway for the price!
“Will Stay Again”
The hotel is going through some renovations by the new owner so I suspect our next visit will be even nicer. The pool, property and guest rooms were very neat and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Convenient to 81 with easy access on and off. If you're looking to leave the hustle behind this hotel is the perfect place. It's located within walking distance to the battlefield and a Civil War Museum. The only problem we had was the mattress was definitely firm but it served it's purpose.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. Overall this hotel was very satisfactory.

2nd stay there, clean rooms, friendly staff, great view of Blue Ridge, a mile walk from the battlefield.
