Spa
Lotus MyoKa Spa
The MyoKa Spa at Le Méridien St Julians Hotel and Spa is undeniably one of the most luxurious Spa venues in Malta.
Enter the Lotus Spa MyoKa and reconnect with the real you.
Within the tranquil world of MyoKa, beauty is synonymous with well-being. Each treatment is based on the philosophy that physical and psychological needs are not only designed to revive, rejuvenate, and restore the skin and body, but also balance the mind, body, and spirit.
Derived from ancient Japanese, the name "MyoKa" means "mysterious flower" and stems from the spa's philosophy that personal beauty is like a flower waiting to be discovered. All treatments and therapies aim to achieve total purification by restoring natural energy and harmony. The spa's services rely on significant essences of aromatherapy and phyto-therapy, and the treatments all descend from traditions and regimens used around the world. A spa's concierge is prepared provide advice or set up a tailor-made package based on individual needs needs. Some treatments can be arranged in the comfort of your hotel room.
The spa includes an inviting indoor heated swimming pool, guarded by four enormous white pillars and adorned with hand-carved designs. Balinese statuettes, teak-like wooden, an array of miniature trees and soft relaxing music all work to provide an ideal spa ambience. Pre-booking is recommended to guarantee time and space availability.
Spa visits provide guests access to all of the spa's amenities, including the indoor pool, hot tub, cold dip, sauna, and steam room. Bathrobes, towels, and slippers are supplied by the spa. A healthy food menu is provided on request.
Guests planning to use the sauna, swimming pool, steam room, or relaxation area must wear a bathing suit. For our guests' relaxation and well-being, the use of mobile phones, video cameras, or personal stereos are prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in all areas and at the time of writing, access to children and teenagers under 16 years old is only allowed until 5pm. Management reserves the right to extend or restrict these hours at any given time. Babies must wear waterproof nappies at all times. Our indoor swimming pool is set in a Spa area, where we strive to keep a relaxing environment at all times.

“Liked the hotel”
Convenient location for just walking around and lots of eating establishments. Near a beautiful park area for walking or realxing.
“Best hotel in Malta”
I was hugely impressed by the efficiency and courtesy of all staff whether they were waiters or front of house managers. When my iron failed to work, my clothes were personally pressed without extra charge - a very speedy response. than you
“American traveler”
My hotel experience was first rate! I would highly recommend this hotel. The spa was fantastic and Sabina was very helpful assisting us in getting treatments that were not booked ahead of time. The location is in a great location right in the heart of St. Julian’s bay. This is a great “get away from it all” hotel. My only negative is that there is not wireless internet in the rooms but only in the reception area. They do have cables available in the room to connect to internet.
“Comfortable spa hotel”
We enjoyed the interior design and architecture of this airy modern hotel, a plus is the amount of different lounging and terraced areas. The business centre works well. The views can be great on the side of the sea. The spa is great but the gym equipment is a little bit tired. The only thing that goes against this hotel really is the lift system - too few and unreliable lifts for the size of the hotel. The service was good and friendly throughout.
“Looking forward to going back”
From the moment that Kasia, the receptionist, welcomed us, to the time that Innocent, the concierge, got us onto our transfer bus to leave we had a lovely relaxing time at this splendid hotel. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. We were lucky to have a sea view over Balluta Bay. One of our couples had 3 balconies which they never stopped talking about!!! The breakfasts were excellent with all manner of food for the variety of guests. That doesn't mean that everything was perfect. We had a couple of unfortunate errors about charging in the Ku de ta lounge and once were served a very cold pizza all of which was disappointing for such a quality hotel but at least the money issues were rectified quickly once accepted. The Spa was luxurious. One of our party loved her reflexology session. We even used the rooftop pool on one of the warmer days. All in all this is an excellent hotel serviced by very professional and attentive staff. We will definitely be back.
“Excellent!”
Very happy with our seven nights stay. Got an upgrade to an Exec. suite - overlooking the harbour. Ate in the hotel a couple of times - buffet dinner and breakfast. Lots of choice, good standard. Location and service very good. We will return in th future!!
“Ideal location over looking the bay.”
Lovely hotel over looking the bay, spotless, changed towels and cleaned rooms everyday. Will only change bedding if requested by you. Mini bar dont touch only if you intend to use it, even if you pick up the item it will charge you as it has a sensor on it. Bathrobes provided for the spa, some people also had slippers but we didnt for some reason? Spa great place to relax after a busy day shopping in Sliema. Pool could have been slightly warmer as we stayed in November and was a little chilly. Over all had a lovely stay and will definatley stay again.
“Excellent value”
I went with my three children (15, 12, and 8)and we all had a great time. Not sure if I had an especially good deal but it cost less than self-catering in a very basic apartment in Greece which is what we have done for each of the last four years. The kids all agreed that it was the best holiday so far. Hotel was excellent and service could not be faulted, though the lifts require a little patience.
“Fantastic hotel”
Great rooms, excellant service. Highly reccomend.
“Le Meridien, a true star.”
I have to be specific seeing as I cant type too much on here so Ill try my best to make this helpful. The hotel is definitely a 5 star to me. We were treated very nicely by all the staff in the hotel. The Gym & Spa staff are fantastic and always gave us a tip or two as well as being super friendly with us and having conversations and so on. The Villa is a delicious restaurant that is just outside the entrance of the hotel, its part of the hotel though. They make great food. One of the best steaks Ive ever had, meat cooked to perfection and the waiters were wonderful and honest. The rooms are big but if you want to have a great room that choose the sea view because its worth it. The pool on the roof also has amazing views so definitely try going around summer when its open and warmer outside. There are also treatments if you are interested, the rooms are great and you can get many different types of massages, well worth checking out. The pool is amazing, very relaxing and built nicely. Very impressive indeed, so was the gym which helped me get into shape on lazy evenings instead of doing nothing. The breakfast buffet isnt as bad as many said. You get a lot for what you pay for and you get a chef that cooks the eggs, omelettes and so on in front of you. I enjoyed the food. Its in a great location with a bus stop just outside, sliema a walk away and Valletta a bus away, definitely check into this hotel.
