Very nice breakfast actually the best we had in Sulawesi. The dinner menu could be more extensive and a bit lower in the price as compared with other places it’s quiet pricey. "Conveniently located next to the hospital, which is why I chose this place needing unexpected care last minute. This hotel needs a face lift and feels very tired. Very dissapointed to not have hot water in the room, expecially being sick and having gone without a hot shower for 3 months now. Breakfast was very simple and bland, i would reccomend skipping it and going out. Overall, unless you need to go to the hospital I would not reccommend this hotel."

"The hotel is very run down. Our first room was comfortable, spacious and relatively clean. However the wood flooring by the patio doors was broken, with loose floor boards, exposing a small cavity space below. This presented a health and safety hazard, as well as the wooden decking on the patio, which was in a state of complete disrepair. "The accommodation was nice, as were the Dutch owners. The problems for me were that I was a solo traveller and also the only guest. So it was a bit lonely. Also, Tongkaina is very quiet. Lunch was not included and the only options in the village seemed to be a couple of dirt-floored warungs. The third thing was that, if you are a snorkeller, it makes more sense to stay on Bunaken, cos the Grand Luley boats take you to Bunaken anyway."
