"We loved the area. The room is spacious and excellent. The breakfast buffet is highly appreciated. The infinity swimming pool is refreshing, the playground and the bar and all amenities are awesome. 2 things to improved: one- make sure to put family in non-smoking room (confirm if they preferred smoking or non-smoking room), as per requested they moved us to non-smoking room and also the tv is not functioning well. "Myanandar Residence has a good reputation for a reason: huge, clean room; friendly, responsive staff especially at the restaurant where they knew my husband’s OJ and cappuccino order before he sat down; great breakfast options; instant hot shower; quiet; great AC, and WiFi worked fine for the most part. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and you’re relatively close to Myanmar Plaza. It was an economical option for my long stay when I wanted a kitchen."

"Wonderful stay with very attentive and friendly staff. Due to Covid-19 we were forced to stay an extra week until we were able to get a flight out and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Restaurant, bar and cafe had a lovely range of food and beverages and everything was very clean and hygienic. Our temperature was checked every time we entered the hotel and hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the building. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Hotel Balmi is a lovely, modern, boutique hotel. My room was great, with a nice river view. The location was perfect for me, with so much interesting street life nearby and within walking distance of some of the tourist spots. It’s also easy and cheap to get a Grab taxi if you’re feeling a little tired and lazy! The service at the hotel was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again."

"The hotel itself was clean and in a good location. The AC did not work. The hot water did it work. We were offered to switch rooms and the AC didn’t work well in the next room. The next morning we checked out early and they stopped our driver from taking us to the airport because they wanted us to pay a few dollars for food when our room should have been fully refunded. We almost missed our flight. I wouldn’t stay here again. "

A clean, comfortable, and cheerful oasis.
"It was my first visit to Myanmar and I stayed all five nights at K.C Hotel. It is very conveniently located near the airport. The facility was clean and comfortable. For me, the bed was comfortably firm, which is a must. And the linens were clean. For someone who traveled from the other side of the globe, I slept very well at KC hotel. Whatever imperfections existed are overshadowed by the excellent customer service and the cheerful staff. Hotel staff were eager to ensure I had a good stay and help me with arranging taxis, laundry service, and other requests. The only negative issue during my stay was rude guests who clearly violated hotel policies about smoking. The restaurant served a convenient breakfast, which was tasty each day. I also chose to eat dinner in the hotel for two other meals, which also were enjoyable. In a country, where electric outages are not uncommon, the back up generators were effective and the air-conditioning worked well during my visit where temperatures frequently were above 38°C/100°F. Likewise, Internet service was consistently dependable. For me K.C Hotel was a clean, comfortable, and cheerful oasis."
