    “Best of Mazatlan”

I have been to many resorts in Mexico and while Mazatlan is not one of my preferred destinations, I was utterly impressed with this resort. I was there for a week attending a close friend's wedding. I have always been difficult to impress when it comes to service, but the Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay far outranks any other resort that I have been to in recent memory. The resort is kept in beautiful condition from the grounds, to the rooms, to the pool (which is incredible), etc... It is the first vacation I have ever had that I do not have one complaint about. What is even nicer is the seclusion of this resort so that you are not bombarded with street and beach vendors as well as the ever present time share pitch. I only got a pitch in the 1st few minutes I arrived and then never again. That was wonderful. If you are going to Mazatlan I could not think of a better place to stay.

    “Beautiful”

The Emerald Bay is gorgeous. You can feel the luxury the moment you drive up to the front gate. The architecture is so beautiful, and they have gorgeous peacocks by the main entrance. It is a little bit away from the action, but it is peaceful and nice to get away and easy to get into town when you want to go out. Service at the pool is pretty slow, but if you order your drinks a while before you actually want it, it's not a problem!

    “Amazing Getaway--Good for Kids”

This hotel is incredible: scenic, luxurious and safe. Our kids (7 & 3) were delighted by the pools, my husband enjoyed the gym and spa, I enjoyed eating breakfast each morning on our private terrace looking out on Emerald Bay. The restaurants serve tasty food but I have to admit I wasn't expecting to pay California prices. And there's no child's menu offered at the pool Grill. If you make use of the kitchenettes and the Deli, you can probably manage to save some dollars on dining. We took advantage of the shuttle to the sister property 15 minutes away. This resort is not to be missed.

“Beautiful, Breathtaking view. Very friendly staff.”

The hotel complex was outstanding. It was very well maintained and offered a wide variety of amenities. The only drawback was it's distance from the city. Although a short shuttle or cab ride into town, it's sometime inconvenient. But the upside of being apart - very quiet and relaxing.

    “Best Hotel In Mazatlan”

My husband and I stayed at the resort to celebrate our five year anniversary. I read through these reviews before booking our stay and the reviews are no exaggeration. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The pictures are beautiful but they don't even come close to how beautiful the resort really is. The food is incredible and reasonably priced for the quality. We didn't venture out to eat anywhere else.(Next time) The service is impeccable. No detail has been overlooked. It is beyond fabulous. We only got asked once about time share purchase when we first got there. That was it. We will definitely return and it won't be another five years.

“have all ready rebooked a trip back!!”

Perfect place to relax and sit poolside with a few good books. We were the only single people there (my sister and I) but it was the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Pool side service was excellent, grounds were amazing and the free shuttle that goes into town every day is an added bonus. We took the shuttle into town every afternoon to explore and eat dinner. Make sure you research where you want to go for dinner as their isn't a main area of restuarants for you to chose from. We took recommendations from other reviews and they were all excellent.

    “The setting is fabulous.”

The hotel is first rate. The food and service are exceptional. It's convenient for families to enjoy the pools and ocean. I didn't like the push on the time shares or the late maid service. But, we had a great time with other couples and our children enjoyed the activities with others.

    “Nice!”

We had a group of 9 people (4 children) traveling together and were very happy with the resort. We spent the majority of each day by the pool lounging and playing water games. We ate lunch poolside everyday and loved it! The service was top notch! At night we would take the shuttle into Mazatlan and eat in town. We wouldn't change a thing except for the beach...not so good!
