“Very Relaxing”
We were in Medford with 2 of our kids for an Autocross race. We had a really good time and slept much more comfortably then the initial plan to camp at the race track. We all slept really good after a long drive down, a day at the track and a nice swim in the pool. The best part was they offered a full breakfast, not just a quick continental one. It was a little of the main road, and without our gps, we would have had to ask for directions, but it was comfortable, convenient, and worth the money.
“a pleasant surprise”
When I drove up to the Ramada, it looked a little worrisome. From the outside, not impressive. But the staff was friendly and helpful and the recently-remodeled room was a welcome surprise. Clean and comfortable - everything, including carpet, seemed new. Completely new bathrooms with plenty of water from a good showerhead. Comfortable beds, a view of a landscaped inner area that's really too large to be called a courtyard. And despite the freeway proximity, nice and quiet. The only small fault was the heater - an older model that was not quiet (but it was unusually cold during my stay so it had to run on high). I took advantage of the "park and fly" option, leaving my car parked at the Ramada for a week while I was away (at no extra cost). They run their own shuttle to the airport, very punctually. And they offer this service even if you're only staying the night before you fly out (other facilities require that you stay the night before and again overnight upon your return, to qualify for park and fly). Upon return, I called them for the shuttle and they came within minutes. Lastly, and most fortunately for me, they have you park your car right in front of the motel entrance while you're gone. My hybrid's battery failed while I gone, which disabled the door locks (the car was unlocked for some period of time!). It was undisturbed, and I credit the Ramada for their wise policy that allows close surveillance of the cars.
“Convenient overnight stop between N Cal and Washington”
The motel is close to the main highway, but far enough away so that there is no noise from the road. A large grocery, clothing and misc. store is next door. Breakfast buffet is good, but not exceptional.
“Nice hotel to stay”
I booked this hotel because I read a review online which was pretty bad regarding this hotel, so I wanted to see how bad it is since I would need to stay a night while on my way to Seattle. But it came out to be a nice hotel. I have nothing to complain about. It is close to Hwy 5, but I didn't hear any noise from the high way at all.
“Great Place to Stop Right Off I-5”
The hotel was convenient to get to right off the freeway. Check-in was great and so were the rooms. The breakfast in the morning topped it all off. I would definately go back!
“Will stay here agin next ime”
This was a very pleasant hotel. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. There is free internet and computers in the lobby which came in very handy for us when getting directions and such. I would highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and the free breakfast was ample and good!
“Pleasantly surprised”
The hotel was great. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to insure my daughter and I had a great time. The room was nice, beds comfy, and the pool was great. This has to be one of the largest hotel pools I have been in.
“Great Place will stay there whenever in Medford”
Great service clean rooms great breakfast awsome stay
“Price was right, we knew what we were getting when we booked thanks to other reviews”
We booked this hotel first and foremost for price. We read previous reviews and knew the hotel was older and had been updated. We also booked because we have children and the hotel has an indoor pool. We stayed on consecutive Saturdays traveling from Washington to California. Pros of stay: -clean rooms -free continental breakfast buffet -pool -friendly staff -room had microwave and fridge -adjacent to a supermarket so you can pick up snacks and beverages easily Cons (non of which we considered deal-breakers) -walls are thin: there was a soccer tournament in town the second Saturday we stayed and there were LOTS of teenagers running around. The adjoining room made lots of noise until late at night and we could hear it all. We don't blame the hotel for this -rooms and building are older. Halls have a slight smell of cigarette smoke from years past. Rooms have been fairly recently painted (or so it seems) so there is still a slight smell of paint, but not too bad in our opinion. If you are someone who is used to new, sparkling hotels and rooms, this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for a place to stay and have kids who like to swim and are looking for a reasonable price, we recommend this hotel.
“Great place for the money”
Great place to stay for the money. Clean room, comfortable beds, great staff. Only thing is the room freshner is a bit strong and would have liked to have scrambled eggs with the breakfast. Overall it was great the two times I have stayed there and would recommend it.
