“Wonderful”
The lady that worked the 3-11 shift was sensational. She made it all worth the stay. The hotel was very clean and I felt in a safe part of town. When I return to Dallas/Mesquite, this is the only hotel I will stay in. Thank you Days Inn.
“Can't wait to go back,”
the staff very, very friendly
“Just Fine for a Rushed Trip”
This hotel is nothing fancy but it was clean, warm, and was close to were we needed to be. The breakfast left something to be desired, especially those that don't want just muffins.
“Some Problems But Not A Bad Stay”
Everything was great, except for two things: The TV remote control was missing in our room, and we had no hot water in the shower. Otherwise, it was a great stay, and the desk clerk when we checked in was super friendly and helpful.
“Nice indoor pool, but small”
This hotel is small, but it has an indoor pool. It is a good price for a hotel with an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The carpet is not new, but it was clean.
“Our stay”
We had a nice, quiet, comfortable room. I feel that the value was good. We slept late one of the days and when I was leaving, the maid was outside the room because she was cleaning the room next door. I told her that we didn;t need the room cleaned but did need more towels. She said that they were being laundered and that she would bring some in a half an a hour. We never got them. I asked for more towels at the front desk later and the front desk person gave me one washcloth and one towel, which meant I had to request more. We tried to reuse the towels while there, but got them dirty quickly because we were moving and were pretty dirty ourselves. It would have been nice to have clean towels more readily available when we needed them.
“Need some updating, but pool is great!”
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. The hotel just needs some freshening up. New carpet and funiture. Both kids and I love indoor pool!
“Wasn't Bad”
The location of the hotel was very quiet. The room itself wasn't bad. There was only a bed, desk, and chair ... not necessarily what the pictures show. Huge stain on the floor. But other than that the employees were very nice, location was pretty convenient. Not the best hotel I've been in, but by far not the worst either.
“Modest comfort, with some exceptions”
The room was clean and reasonably quiet midweek, noisier on weekend. The bed was comfortable. The minuses were the worst towels and pillows we've ever encountered in a hotel. The staff seemed efficient, but not friendly. No elevator, no ice machine on 2nd floor. Very basic breakfast available in lobby. Interior hallway, rather than a balcony, is incovenient for smokers, but cuts down on noise. The staff did not appear to be monitoring who was entering the hotel at night.
“Disappointed”
The hotel was very convenient to the Mesquite Rodeo. There was no elevator so you had to carry luggage up to the 2nd floor. The stairway had a strange odor. The room was nice and neat but smelled like body odor so strong that I ended up spraying some of my son's colgne over by the A/C so that the smell of the colgne would be blown about the room and mask the scent. The next morning I went out to my vehicle and upon my return I realized that the room odor was every bit as strong as the night before. We packed our stuff as quickly as possible and left.
