The hotel's Catalina Beach Club, next to the beach, provides complimentary beach chairs; complimentary pool and beach towels are available at the hotel. Complimentary passes to area nightclubs are available through the front desk. Return shuttle service to the airport is available for a surcharge.
Rooms
Catalina's 190 guestrooms in three buildings have hardwood floors and all-white minimalist decor with color accents. Beds feature Tempur-Pedic Swedish mattresses with down comforters and Belgian-cotton sheets. Rooms include minibars, 27-inch flat-panel TVs, glass-enclosed showers, and complimentary wireless Internet access.
All guestrooms are nonsmoking.

The hotel offers a complimentary happy hour 7 PM - 8 PM each night at at any of the Catalina's four bars. Mixed drinks only.
Kung Fu Sushi - Modern Asian and sushi bistro with a kick. Open for lunch and dinner.

Recreation
An outdoor courtyard includes a sundeck, day beds, and a splash pool. Guests receive discounted access to a fitness center seven blocks away. Catalina Hotel is one block from the beach. Complimentary towels are available at the hotel; complimentary beach chairs are offered at the Catalina Beach Club, next to the beach.
Water-sports equipment, including personal watercraft, and WaveRunners, is available for rent along the beach (surcharge). The 18-hole Miami Beach Golf Club is open to the public and is l.5 miles away.

“Great Rood top pool.”
The hotel was comfortable and very clean. I would stay there agian.

Very comfortable hotel with great beach access. staff was very helpful and responsive.
“Great place to stay if you want to be "IN IT"”
The service was very good , the room was quiet although the slamming doors did cause one to jump every once in a while. Very centrally located to restaurants, stores and beach . Amenities were a money saving plus: free shuttle bus to and from airport, free beach towels and chairs , free drinks at happy hour with nightly entertainment by very talented musicians , free bikes to rent ( although not the best bikes!) Very active , lively area with lots to see and do. Would return and recommend to all friends w/o small children.

Although my trip was only a weekend, I desire to come back to South Beach and to the Catalina! It was a blast! The hotel was beautiful and swanky, straight out a scene in a movie! The beds were comfortable, slept like a baby instantly. The staff and service were lovely and very professional. Thumbs up for this fabulous hotel!

Catalina was really a hot place to see beautiful people and be seen by important social impresarios in South Beach. This hotel has really become the hip spot to stay at and I will recommend it to everyone I know.
“The place to see and be seen”
A true hot spot in South Beach. The Catalina was a hip place to be, full of beautiful people who were all trendsetters. The cocktails at the bar were all good and the bartenders had good advice about where to find the best nightclubs on the beach. We will stay here next time we are in South Beach.

We stayed here for a bachelorette party and had the best time ever! The manager happened to meet us and then gave us some complimentary food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful and made sure we had a very good time in South Beach! The free cocktail hour from 7-8 was great for meeting people from all over the world and we made some fun friends. I will certainly go back!
“Sexy Place”
Wow, this hotel is very nice, it looks very sexy and has that nice new york club style look to it and the rooms. The bed is extremely comfortable, i actually was here on b-day stay for few days, me and my girl. My girlfriend and I are extreme hygienists and this hotel lived up to our standards.. Had a small problem with valet parking, but was solved quickly by management to perfection.. Stay here, you'll love the environment, its very upstage
