Great hotel fantastic location (other than it’s behind the main road but one cobble stone road away). St. Peter’s Festival was happening the night we stopped, so the main road was shut down as pedestrian and it was fantastic! The hotel beds were so great compared to others we’ve visited. Only one complaint, the air conditioner….if you can call it that, it didn’t work much at all and as the place is nice and eco friendly (which we do like) it could not be kept on in order to keep it any sort of decent temperature, thank goodness the evening cooled off a bit. But we loved the place and would stay again or tell our friends. We would just check that the air was working better next time before bed time.

Great place to stay in beautiful Modica
Great place to stay in beautiful Modica, very central. Once we established the parking arrangements in Modica, things were fine. Accommodation was great and good value with lovely staff, recommended.

Great break!
Conveniently close to Modica main restaurants centre area. We stayed in the Annex building which is situated in a stepped street. However it was worth staying there for a very quite surrounding.

Exactly, the rooms in the separate building are reachable through a characteristic street made up of 36 steps, so they are in a quiet area but at the same time only 200 meters from Corso Umberto and really close to Modica's main monuments and places of interest. The hostel was absolutely lovely. Definitely one, if not thee best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was small, but personal, clean, and in a great location. You could tell the staff really cared about the guests and tried to make their stay the most enjoyable while also being eco-friendly. Overall, great experience! If I ever come back to Modica again, I know I’ll be staying here.

Centrally Located
Stayed for one night at Modica Old Town Rooms, situated in the heart of Old Town Modica, walking distance away from several restaurants, cafeterias and other shops. Also close to several attractions including the museum of chocolate and several churches which all can be reached on foot! The room we had was very sweet and spacious. Although no breakfast is included, there is a small kitchenette which can be used by guests to make coffee, etc. For those who like towels etc to be laundered every day, please note that this can be done but at an extra charge of €5 per laundry - this was the only drawback, otherwise everything was excellent!

As you said, there are a lot of cafes within walking distance of Modica Old Town Rooms and guests can taste a fresh products breakfast enjoying the city view. We really care about the environment, and for this reason we guarantee the towels laundry every 2 days, to reduce the environmental impact of the washing process and to not waste natural resources. Clean, friendly stay in excellent central location
Over all an excellent experience. Greeted at checkin with helpful local tips. Parked on main street and bought tics from tobaconist store. Location is right in the center of things.

Great Stay!
Spent 2 nights to visit this lovely hill town. The hotel is very centrally located, yet was very quiet (except for the occasional church bells). There are many restaurants, stores, gelaterias, and chocolate shops nearby. We arrived and left by train, and the train station is an easy 15-20 minute walk. Check-in & out were easy, and the staff was very friendly & helpful in directing us to local sites. The room was comfortable & clean, with the necessary amenities. The only issue would be if someone is not comfortable climbing stairs, as there is no elevator. We definitely recommend.

Highly Recommended
This is a wonderful place to use as a base for exploring this beautiful part of Sicily. We had room 103. The place has been open for about 3 years, but everything seems brand new. Really comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Paola is an excellent host, just a pity she is only there in the evenings. We'll definitely be staying there again.

Excellent location, great hospitality!
A well considered hotel with a welcoming feel and communal kitchen. My en suite room was perfect in every sense; newly refurbished, very clean and tranquil. Perfectly located in a typical building close to good cafes and within easy walking distance of sights of interest including the case delle farfalle. Highly recommended. I will use again.

Fantastic staff Hotel was a little tricky to find UT the cab driver assisted in finding the correct street The staff member was excellent kind and helpful The room was modern clean and quiet So far the nicest hostel I have stayed in on this trip I would highly recommend this hostel

trés bien situé dans Modica proche de tout. belle chambre et trés propre, je recommande cet établissement sauf peut être aux personnes ayant du mal à se déplacer. Escalier raide (c'est bon pour la santé) et couloir cela fait un peu labyrinthe En conclusion trés bien

Posizione strategica, moderno all’interno e con tutti i comfort, anche in cucina. Attenzione solo alle tante scale soprattutto al secondo piano. Pulito. Check in autonomo eccellente. Gestori gentilissimi. Modica bellissima.

Lo chiamerei ostello old town
Il B&B assomiglia più ad un ostello, organizzati con uno spazio comune per le colazioni la camera ha tutto ciò che è necessario per il soggiorno. L’ unica pecca il condizionatore emanava un odore sgradevole. Siamo rimasti delusi dal check in ... eravamo alloggiati nella dependance ... avremmo gradito di essere accompagnati (come ci è successo in altre occasioni).

Grazie per la segnalazione sul condizionatore, purtroppo non possiamo individuare la sua camera come anonimo, ma abbiamo effettuato un controllo e pulizia ulteriore a tutti i condizionatori, seppur si tratta di Toshiba di ultima generazione cambiati da poco. Per il fatto di non essere accompagnati ci dispiace ma stiamo applicando come indicato in fase di prenotazione, le procedure per garantire la sicurezza in fase covid degli ospiti e del personale, con il self check in "contactless", che resta tuttavia abbondantemente spiegato con le istruzioni e con il nostro supporto a disposizione.
