“WOULD GO BACK.......AND BRING FRIENDS AND FAMILY”
I was there from 4-19 thru 4-23-2010. The hotel and grounds were very well kept. The variety of food was also very good. Some of the table services were a little slow and to me. You could be sitting there from beginning to end for 2 hours. A little tip goes a long way. We used Clives Transport service from airport to hotel and they were wonderful, would use them again. Minor problems in the room, sliding glass door had broken wheels so your door needed to be pushed to open or close. Tv control did not work, so they brought in a new TV after 2 days. AC is very different from the states, so it is not as cold and you would like and there are no adjustments. We loved the bungalo, great out door shower and a view of the ocean. I would go again and again.....
“Can't wait to go back”
Great service
“room”
please work on that initial musty smell upon arrival in room. the air could be cooler during daytime and turned on an hour before arrival of guests. the pillows are a bit mildewey as well ( i realise the difficulty with the weather and humidity)
“Lady Hamilton Jamaica”
beautiful resort with sandy beach cove to swim and snorkle; fabulous pools; not the best food but several choices; great job of arranging sightseeing trips; staff courteous and friendly; room clean and quiet; although large it was easy to walk around property
“Very Irie!”
Experience at the grand Paladium was very excellent. Food was great, facilities were great, and the employees were just fabulous. Very big, easy to get lost in the massiveness, but impossible to get pyhsically lost. Very safe. The employees, in my opinion, are what make the place tick. There are so many that they cannot possibly get paid big wages. That is why it is a very nice gesture to take a lot of singles and tip generously. It really does not add up to much in the grand scheme of things and is really appreciated. Food- Buffets were just as good as the restaurants, especially in the sense that you got immediate gratification as opposed to waiting. Water- Beach at the end of the resort was pretty awesome. HAs a small reef out there that is very safe and lots of wildlife. Just be careful in that it is preserved and not destroyed for future use. Actually had a tourist find a conch in the water, took it to the restaurant, and had them cook it. And we wonder why we get a bad rap. Hey if you want conch, go to the restaunts, leave the wildlife. Drinks- pretty much just draft beer but lots of other kinds of "boat drinks". Room was very clean, only bugs were a parade of ants after it rained. I CANNOT stand bugs but our bug spray set the boundry for the duration in the room. When you get those high winds on the beach you just cannot keep them out 100%. But actually did not have to use the bug spray on ourselves. Music- kind of vanilla but was live and the entertainers were fun.
“Great place”
Great place, food was good, especially the Asian restaurant and the Steak restaurant. Staff was extremely friendly. Shows were average at best, but they and the drinks were free so it didn't really matter. Overall a great experience.
“Jamaica's premiere resort. Wanna make it my home!!”
This hotel is amazing. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed being there. We felt like royalty. Absolutely amazing place to stay.
“Will definitly go back...we loved it :)”
It was our first time to Jamaica...I was a little apprehensive about our resort after reading some of the reviews about reservation issue's. But our check-in went smoothly, our room was beautiful. We stayed in a Couple's Bungalow suite on the beach, I loved it. All the restaurants have wonderful food, we especially loved the Indian restaurant and Bubba's steakhouse. On our 3rd day there we met a grounds keeper who offered to leave the resort to pick us some coconuts for a couple dollars....they were amazing. All around it was a great resort, and no worries to those who are traveling soon....I think they've fixed any reservation problems they may have had
“IMPRESSED”
I WOULD DEFINATELY GO BACK TO THIS RESORT BUT THERE IS NOT MUCH NIGHTLIFE, ONLY A DISCO WITH EXTREMELY LOUD DISTORTED MUSIC. ALSO THE BEACH IS VERY ROCKY. MANY GREAT RESTAURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM.
“Would Go Back In A Heart Beat :-)”
Great Resort & I recommed it to All!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clean & everything you need is at the resort. It's a Great place to get R&R :-) I would go back & Wish I could right now :-)
