“Sweet, clean, affordable hotel!”

The room was extremely clean and modern+comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is convenient--right off Hwy 1--and even the outside of the hotel is prettily decorated with flowers. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs because the walls are a little thin. I definitely plan to stay here next time I come to Monterey!

“Romantic Getaway”

Checked in on Sunday night and checked out on Monday. The place wasn't busy and pretty quite. Even though I didn't interact with the staff too much, when I did, they were friendly and helpful (they refilled the milk container during breakfast when asked). The room could be seen small for some people, but it was perfect for me and my boyfriend. The bedsheets and pillows had character to them, not the standard hotel blankets and pillow covers. It was a nice touch. The bathroom was clean. It could also been seen as small for some people, but it didn't bother me or my boyfriend very much. The heater worked quickly and warmed up the entire hotel room. Overall, my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

“Very nice hotel”

It was surprisingly very nice for the price we paid! I'd stay here again and reccommend this place to anyone coming to Monterey to visit and looking for some affordable and nice.

“Great stay”

This hotel was far superior to the one we stayed in further south, at a higher price. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location good, and everythig was clean and in good repair (other than the microwave, which we were assured they would attend to. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Grrreat for 1.5 Stars”

Knowing it was a 1.5 star hotel my expectations were low, but the room and all its fixtures were in great condition and the service was fine. The pool was also nice--if only it could have been a bit warmer outside...

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. At this price you aren't going to get a great hotel, but I've had to pay a lot more for a lot less before. I'd happily stay here again.

Excellent hotel for the price. Rooms were very clean, staff friendly, maid service great, no complaints at all. My children and I stayed 3 days and will definitely book at this hotel on our next trip to Monterey.
