“Marina Hotel”
Hotel was nice and new, very comfortable beds. The breakfast was tasty. We were on the first floor and had kind of loud neighbors and could hear the people on the second floor walking around. Enough to be slightly annoying, but we didn't lose any sleep. Room service didn't come on the second day and we addressed it with the front desk. Other than those small things, we had a terrific stay.
“Very nice”
Very spacious room (almost 400 sqf). very convenient to visit Monterey and Carmel. Close to supermarket since rooms are equiped with fridge and microwave. Loved our stay.
“Would go back”
Clean, comfortable,nice staff,good breakfast at a great price.
“Would stay again”
The only complaint was - My Grandson lost a toy under the bed and when we push the bed to the side to get it we notice the Maid service had not vacuum under this bed or under any of the furniture. We did bring to the Maid that was working that morning and she said, I will take care of it", and she did. We made sure to give her a nice tip for being so courtesy and making sure our stay was pleasant.
“Simply fantastic”
Simply fantastic for the price. Clean room and bed, good breakfast, very close to the marin state beach which by the way is very clean and not crowded at all. It's a much better place to stay than Monterey itself. Air conditioning was quiet.
“A Great Deal”
My husband and I went down to Monterey on business and we took an extra day for leisure. We did not want to spend what we normally do for Monterey, so we stayed about 15 minutes away in Marina. What a deal! The hotel is not a romantic get-away, but it was quite clean; in good condition; the free breakfast was more than we expected and the hotel staff went out of their way to be friendly (after reading the reviews, I made it a point to look for that). The room (off of indoor corridors) was huge (easily could have held 2 king beds and a couch) and there was even a small tub with spa jets. This was quite a bit more than we anticipated for what we paid. If you are looking for a clean, roomy place with a frig and microwave, this is a fantastic choice. We will definitely be back and would be willing to pay twice the price (it would still be a terrific deal).
“Great stay”
This hotel was a very nice hotel for the price. and within a few miles of Monterey. It was beyond what we expected.
“Nice and comfortable”
Close to all Monterey attractions, 17-Mile drive, etc. If you don't want to spend a lot of money but stay near Monterey, this is the place.
“Great accomodations at a good price for Monterrey”
Clean and neat facilities. Large rooms. Only about 10 minutes from downtown Monterrey.
“Marina bound”
We stayed 2 nights out of 21 at this hotel. The rooms were clean & cheerful. The staff was very helpful. Lobby was nice & roomy and it wasn't far off the main highway. Would stay again.
