I was asked twice if I was staying at the hotel while eating breakfast by staff. They should find a more appropriate way to screen people or perhaps take some training on unconscious biases.

I had booked online & arrived by cruise ship. We were very early to the hotel, but the gentleman at the desk was so gracious and checked us in early & stored our bags until the room was ready. When we arrived back several hours later, the bags had been carried to our room. The hotel is vintage & charming. The room was clean & comfortable. Everyone was lovely & helpful. The continental breakfast was expansive. I would go back in a heartbeat & highly recommend this property. There are a lot of restaurants just a couple of blocks away & a bus runs right out front.

Hotel was incredibly charming, breakfasts were delicious, and the kind staff went way beyond the call of duty, making us a special breakfast at 6 am on the day of our departure--1-1/2 hours before they ordinarily serve breakfast--so that we could catch our morning flight. They also arranged for the taxi to pick us up at 6:30 am.

The building was beautifull inside and out. The room was small but very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Unfortunatly there are too many stairs! For seniors or clients with mobility issues this is not a good choice. There are quite a few stairs just to get to the front door, lugging a suitcase. My room was on the third floor (It was what I booked because it was the best price) and although the staff helped with my luggage I still had to stop several times going up after a long day of traveling. I was not there long enough to scout out the area but it seemed fine. If I stayed again I would have to pay the extra for a first floor room but would still have to climb the stairs to the front door. PFR

Thank you Peter for visiting us. Unfortunately, since our hotel is located in a historical building dating from 1862, we cannot build an elevator. However, as you mentioned, our staff is always ready to help our guests with their bags. We also have rooms on the ground floor of our hotel. If you contact us in advance for your next reservation, we will try to help you with this. There are not many stairs to enter our hotel. Just a few entrance steps, like in every building. Très bon weekend à l'hotel Manoir Sherbrooke. Chambre confortable avec salle de bain moderne. Le personnel est accueillant et très serviable. Très bien situé, près des métros, des restos etc.

This place is fantastic. The staff have to be the best I've ever seen!!! The hotel it's self was so interesting. One evening before dinner I sat in the lounge and read with some wine. Perfect place.

One of best decision to book this hotel. Amazing welcoming and helpful staff, hassle free check In, I requested for early check In ( depends if your booked room is available ) and I got it. Breakfast was super delicious. Hotel is perfect spot to stay. With 5-10 min walk you can explore clubs, pubs, shopping, cafe’s. Absolutely going to back to this place soon. Thank you Monoir Sherbrooke for being awesome.

Wonderful place to stay in Montreal
Fantastic small hotel, the idea has been to linked two victorian houses together and renovate it as a Hotel by keeping the architectural features of the time which gives it a warm atmosphere. Montreal has destroyed most of its architectural patrimony on Sherbrooke Street by lack of vision and it is super nice to see this and to be able to experience it as well. The room was super comfortable and the breakfast was well provided and nice. I had a Deluxe room, so I don't know about the other rooms in the hotel, but everything was excellent and the viewpoint on the city was nice. For light sleeper you just put earplugs if you are sensitive to road noise and you'll sleep super well, pillows are comfortable (feather) and mattress as well. I slept super well and I am a light sleeper. The manager, Carole is very welcoming and has allowed me to use the lounge until 15:30 while waiting for friends to bring me to their place. Wonderful hotel and it will certainly not be my last visit. For sure I'll stay here next time I need to pass by Montreal.

The entire staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean and well cared for. The rates were very reasonable given the quality of the 1870's building. We were shown our room and given a tour of the sitting room and breakfast area. Nearest parking garage was a few blocks away but it was clean and safe.

Cozy Stay in Montréal!
We had a wonderful time at Hotel Manoir Sherbrooke. We were immediately greeted with amazing hospitality from everyone on the staff team, followed up each morning during breakfast. Despite the rainy and snowy weather, the common areas were kept very clean and the dining area served as a cozy hangout area during the evening. Our room was a bit small, only having one chair, but that could just be the type of the room we booked. The Victorian style interiors were a bit intimidating from the photos, but the room turned out to be fine. The washroom was very large and the room was kept very clean before and during our stay.

A lovely 2 night stay
This is a delightful small boutique hotel in central Montreal. The staff were attentive to all, the continental breakfast was more than adequate and the rooms very clean and comfortable. if you love historic buildings and a small hoetl experience, then Manoir is an excellent choice.
