“Will definitely use this hotel on my next trip to Montreal.”
Not fancy but very clean and comfortable. Nice rooms with full kitchens (a big plus for me) and a really nice breakfast room with complementary breakfast. The pool is really nice too!
“can't wait to return”
the staff is professional and extremely helpful. we were unable to find the under-ground parking due to construction in the city and the staff politely offered to take care of the matter. this is our second visit there and will be coming back!!!
“very pleased”
Our hotel experience was very pleasant. The room had a nicely equipped kitchenette that was very useful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and clear and the rooftop terrace had a lovely view of the surrounding area. Our room had a balcony that faced the front of the hotel, which is on the main street. Just a block away from McGill Univ. and many college students everywhere. There was a very nice comp. breakfast, better than the usual offerings. The staff were very professional and pleasant. We had a great time there and higly recommend it and will go there again on our next trip.
“Great for families”
Ours was a family getaway and this was an ideal venue with a pool to keep the kids (4 & 6) happy and a great central location from which to explore the city. We had a one-bedroom suite and it was very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. I would definitely stay again.
“Worth the Stay”
They surprised me with an upgrade to a one bedroom suite, considering most hotels were full at the time. The free breakfsat was a plus. It was my first time staying htere and I probably would stay again..It is a well kept secret.
“Great Stay in Montreal!”
L Appartement Hotel was a great place to stay in Montreal! The rooms were clean and well maintained as were all of the public areas in the hotel. The hotel was close to two metro stops making it convenient to hop and go all over the city. The area that the hotel is in, was ideal - restaurants and shops. A great place to stay in Montreal!!!!
“Great location to explore Montreal”
This was my fifth trip to Montreal, I travelled with my company, worked for a week, and my wife came out to Canada to join me for a week, I picked the hotel for us to stay on in. First off, this is a great location for exploring Montreal, very central, nice walk to The Plateau area, downtown, the Vieux Ville and the Parc (and Montreal itself), 5 minutes walk to the Metro, and plenty of good eating spots in and around the area (and a fair-sized supermarket two streets away). As for L'Appartement, it was clean and tidy, the room was a great size, for all it's in a busy area, it wasn't noisy at night. Continental breakfast was included, a selection of bread to toast, fruit juices, bagels, waffles, breakfast cereal, and coffee/tea, a nice to have, but there's plenty of places nearby, including several of the ubiquitous 'Tim Hortons' coffee shops (I can recommend their Boston creme doughnuts). The kitchen facilities in the room were more than adequate, with a nice sized fridge/freezer for storing cold drinks in, and handy for lunch stops or late night snacks. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again in future.
“Montreal's hidden bargain”
This location was a great find and well worth the price. Location is prime, parking was easy, staff was friendly and helpful and actually went out of their way for us. The breakfast room is a nice perk.
“Excellent service at extremely reasonable rates”
The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to subway and downtown, right next to McGill U. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. We had to lengthen our stay at both ends due to a family medical emergency and had no problems at all. The kitchen in the suite was well equipped for one of its size and the rooms were well laid out and comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Obviously I can't say enough positives about the hotel - we'll definitely return.
“Montreal - L' Appartment Hotel”
Nice place. I read several guests' reviews of the hotel and decided to stay here based on them. I was not disappointed. The hotel is located within a few blocks of McGill University and the neighborhood reflected a student vibe. The hotel is near several restaurants, plus one has the kitchenette in their room. Conveniently located near several bus lines and the Metro. Indoor pool, sauna, exercise machines, laundry, roof balcony located on top floor, providing great views of the city. Good daily breakfast buffet. High-speed Internet service in-room. Public computer located in lobby for those who travel without a laptop, like myself. It would be nice if my regular cellphone had Wi-Fi, as I was roaming at the time. Shuttle service to airport was recently discontinued by the hotel. However, there's an express bus line located about five blocks (12 minute walk) from the hotel. Fortunately, these days modern luggage contains wheels. However, if the weather is inclement, the hotel is located across the street from the Hilton Garden Center and the Holiday Inn. Do either of these hotels offer shuttle service to the airport?
