“Great Hotel”
We rode the Amtrac from OK City to Ft. Worth. When we got to the station we called the hotel for the shuttle to pick us up and take to the room. We had the best time while in Ft Worth and the shuttle made it so easy to get around to Sundance Square and the Stockyards.At night after about 10:30 we had to call a cab but the hotel gave us the number of one had they were really quick.Hotel had the hottub and pool so sat we spent alot of time down there. We are going back and will go to this hotel again.The breakfast was great!!
“Restful Stay”
The accomodations and comfort of the hotel were very pleasing. Only difficulty was actually getting to the hotel from the highway or when we left to go get something to eat. The exit ramps and service road design is a bit confusing in Norman for people who are not used to the lay out.
“Room heat”
The heat would not work properly and kept coming on every few seconds and made a horrible noise. It was not until we have already gone to bed til we noticed this so we did not request another room. They could have easily checked this before renting this room. I also could hear the room next door sounding like it was doing the same thing.
“Less than expected”
We could tell there had been a leak in the bathroom and the repair job was less than I would have expected. The wall paper was crumpled, the toilet leaned to the left while the tub leaned to the right, the floor by the door was uneven and sqeaky. The lobby smelled of strong incense and the coffee was terrible.
“No guarentees......”
Really wanted a hotel with hot tub. After seeing reviews that most in Oklahoma City have their hot tubs shut down frequently for unknown reasons, we called this hotel before booking. Were reassured hot tub would be open. It wasn't. Clerk was rude and just shrugged when I pointed out it was the only reason we booked with them. Told us to complaint to Expedia. Expedia wasn't the one who told us there would be a hot tub, hotel was!! Pool wasn't labeled as closed, but no lights were on. Very unwelcoming.
