Deep sea fishing, parasailing, and scuba diving are available. Guests have use of snorkeling equipment, outrigger canoes, and kayaks (limited hours). Guests can also rent boats. Land activities include hiking, and bicycle rentals are available. Staff can arrange island tours, picnics, and ray feeding, as well as helicopter rides.

The hotel is home to the Moorea Dolphin Center, a bottlenose dolphin refuge center. Guests can swim, play and interact with the dolphins and also visit the sea turtle rehabilitation center nearby.

Guests are also invited to discover the creative handicrafts of various artisans who exhibit their wares at the hotel: woven fabrics, mother-of-pearl jewelry, sarongs, and Tahitian black pearls.

“The highlight of the trip”

The resort has everything you could ask for including boat rentals, dolphins, sea turtles, excursions, and reefs full of fish.

The stay in Moorea was even better than expected. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the hotel and grounds were maintained beautifully. The one drawback is the food expense, and lack of variety (Not just a problem at this property, but all over the island).

“Nice hotel”

Hotel was nice but the beach was not very big. The dolphins were great to watch and we could see them from our deck!

“Perfect location - poor Staff skills/Services”

New, nice, clean, great location (amazing). But staff and functions/services not up to the Intercontinental standard. Would rate higher if this was NOT an Intercontinental, but it is so it has a higher set of expectations to attain (and did NOT). No Ambassador services, check-in clumsy, concierge slow (when available), etc. Extra's good but very expensive. Poor food quality (particularly dinner). Tough when the breakfast is the best meal of the day (quality, selection). I expected much better.
