“Pleasant and good value hotel for solo travel”

For the price, this was an excellent hotel. It was very clean, modern and conveniently located. The room was a good size - not huge but comfortable - and the bathroom was very clean and well designed. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Unless you are dead set on being in central Munich this is an ideally located, great value hotel.

“Superb Hotel”

SUPERB Hotel. I have stayed here some 30 odd times over the past 5 years or so. Wonderful location, about 30 steps from the underground station, which is 6 minutes from the city centre! VERY friendly staff, and a good choice for the breakfast buffet. 1 good thing, the beer in the lobby bar (at time of writing) is 3.60 Euros. In the beer kellers and pubs in the city is it between 3.80 and 4.20 Euros. Not bad for a 4 star hotel!

“Great Hotel at a Great Price!”

The hotel is next to the Underground station Harras. It is about a 2 minute walk to the station. The hotel can help out groups of people. Ask for the group metro pass up to 5 people can use it. The hotel is not what I would call downtown Munich, but within a 10 minute metro ride you are in downtown. The rooms are big for a European hotel. The staff were very nice, and the hotel was always clean. The only tricky part was parking. We drove in and used the hotels parking garage. This was the first time ever using a elevator/lift for a car. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Munich. This is what I thought Germany was going to be. Fun atmosphere, friendly people, and great beer!

“Parking”

The parking lot is underground. You drive your car into a very small and tight elevator that lowers you to the bottom levels. We drove a mini and it was barely enough room. Just beware, a SUV or large cars will be a challeng. Great location and excellent hotel. Good quality for the price we paid and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend it. City center is only a few stops away on the U-Bahn or S-Bahn.

“A brief but most pleasing stay”

Could not have asked for a better overnight in Munich. Located less than a hundred yards from the city metro service, this place was professional, bright, clean and accommodating. They were kind enough to check us in early and managed to arrange same day laundry service for me, even though we were well beyond the regular cut-off. The staff spoke perfect English and were extremely friendly in every case. While they don't have a restaurant, there are many within walking distance... the one we ended up at for dinner had great local fare, good prices and extraordinary atmosphere. This place really made for a great stopover in Munich!

“Excellent boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood”

This was our second trip to a K&K hotel, and we chose it because of our excellent experience with K&K's Paris outpost. K&K Hotel am Harras did not disappoint. Full of understated European luxury. The rooms were small, but convenient and well-appointed. (As a general point, I would not recommend getting just one room if you're traveling with kids.) The hotel is in a residential neighborhood. It's quiet, and served by several convenient public-transit routes, but it's not "in the thick of things." To get to the primary tourist areas - Marienplatz/Altstadt, Schwabing, Olympiapark - you're going to have to be willing to take the U-Bahn or the S-Bahn. We knew that when we chose this hotel, but it's not for everyone.

“Second trip to Munich, second time in hotel”

Hotel is conveniently located to both the U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (suburban) rail networks From the Harras station it is four stops to the Marienplatz which is the center of the Munich city center pedestrian area. The desk staff spoke English and were always courteous. The rooms are a bit larger than what you normally see in Europe. There are two internet terminals in the lobby that can be used free of charge. Next trip to Munich will be in this hotel.

“Clean, comfy and convenient!”

Our room tho small was comfortable, quiet and cleaned thoroughly daily. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The wifi didn't work very well in the room, but worked well in the lobby. The convenience of both the underground and above ground trains was wonderful! This was a pleasant experience, in spite of the poor work on the part of Expedia, ordering a single room and bed for this married couple, which hotel fixed upon our arrival.

“Extremely Friendly Staff”

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was pleasantly clean, and being located right next to the Harras U-bahn stop was also a plus. My only minor complaint was that it would get a little warm in the evenings (even with the heat off in November).
