Two miles from Barefoot Landing, Bay Watch Resort by Oceana Resorts' North Myrtle Beach location offers oceanfront seclusion and relaxation, away from the traffic and bustle of Myrtle Beach.
An outdoor pool deck along the resort's oceanfront features a lazy river, three pools, two toddlers' pools, and four four-person spa tubs. Indoors, the resort's three towers contain a lazy river, two pools, two toddlers' pools, a six-person spa tub and two 16-person spa tubs.
A gift shop sells groceries, boogie boards, snack foods, and sundries. Coin-operated laundries are located in two of the resort's three towers, and a fitness center offers cardio machines and a Universal gym. The front desk can arrange tee times for the area's more than 100 golf courses.

Rooms
Bay Watch Resort by Oceana Resorts' guestrooms are located in three 18-story towers. All are nonsmoking and feature furnished balconies with ocean views.
All guestrooms except studios include full kitchens with microwaves, stoves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, dishwashers, utensils, kitchen linens, and dishes. Studios include microwaves and compact refrigerators.
High-speed Internet access and local calls are complimentary.

The Blue Room Cafe - Air-conditioned restaurant decorated in five shades of blue with ocean view. Buffet and á la carte breakfast served daily. Dinner entrees include "Under the Blue Sky," "Under the Blue Sea," and "Surf and Turf" options.
Sandtrap Bar & Grill - Light lunches served during summer months. Bar menu. Happy hour. Ocean view.
Fishtails Beach Bar - Daily specials and live entertainment. Light menu with hamburgers, sandwiches. Seasonal.
Recreation
A palm tree-lined, 180-yard-wide outdoor pool deck along the resort's oceanfront features a lazy river, three pools, a toddlers' pool with a mushroom shower, a small toddlers' pool, and four four-person spa tubs.
Each of the resort's three towers contains indoor water attractions. Tower One features a lazy river, a toddlers' pool, and a 16-person spa tub. Tower Two features a 35-by-25-foot pool, a toddlers' pool, and a six-person spa tub. Tower Three features a 55-foot free-form pool and a 16-person spa tub.
A wooden stairway in front of each tower leads from the pool deck over fragile grasses to the beach, where umbrellas and chairs can be rented.
An independent water sports center on the beach 300 yards south of the resort rents kayaks and sailboats and books banana boat rides and parasailing flights. The resort's front desk can arrange tee times for the area's more than 100 golf courses.

“Can't wait to go back”
This was probably my tenth time at this hotel and I always loved it.Why we need Florida when we have Bay Watch at Myrtle Beach?

well I can't discribe the fun I had with my family.The best location, perfect view to the ocean.
“great stay but wish the maid service was better”
We had a great time, great place to stay.. the only thing was the maid service while we stayed was very minimal. bacially wanted to just had us towels and not bother cleaning which we were very surprise given the quality of everything else. Our maid came to our room at 4:20 and said she had to be off the clock at 4:30 and still had two more rooms to clean. We were in a one beadroom suite with a kitchen and a living room... they need better service for their stayovers.

Family off season vacation was wonderful. We will stay there again, soon. Room rates very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a really nice hotel. We love being right on the ocean. The room was clean and laid out great. This is a really great hotel to vacation in. We loved the pools and the live music. We will stay there again.

Bay watch was a very pleasant experience. Despite all negative reviews the rooms were very clean and up to date. Kids loved the pools especially the lazy rivers (both indoor and outdoor).
“we will be going back”
will go back again. great place to take your growing family, our teens had fun and was able to give them some freedom, because we could look down on pools and beach and keep up with them. our little one enjoyed the sand and the beach area was kept cleaned . staff was wonderful.
