"Great staff"

"Compared to the rest of the southern sun hotels I’ve used over the years. This is the worst!! The rooms are not appealing, the towels are not clean. They look something between white and brown. The bathrooms are a turn off. The workmanship on the plumbing is just untidy. This hotel needs a serious revamp. The walkways are so dull. It looks so dingy. "

However, we would like to mention two details that may require some attention for future costumers: -Proper insulation of the shower cabin -too hard / too firm pillows Other than this, everything was extremely well at Ole Sereni, especially the friendly staff and the cleanness of your facility. "The grounds were very beautiful, spacious and very well kept. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The buildings are in need of some repairs. Many of the roofs had shingles coming off and leaking water, our block of rooms lost hot water for a day. The water coming out of the tap had some rust in it, before and after the boiler malfunction. My room hadn’t changed at all since my last trip here 10 years ago. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"The room was comfortable, though the sheets had a couple of burn marks on them. The arrival of breakfast at the door at 7:45am was an unwelcome surprise on my first morning, jetlagged and hoping to sleep in. The breakfast itself was also a bit disappointing...just boiled eggs (no salt), plain toast, and hot milk (no coffee or tea). Overall though, my stay was perfectly pleasant. The wifi worked well, and the hot water was good."

"We stayed 5 nights and loved it. It is close to malls, Sheldrick elephant orphanage and the Giraffe Center. Would stay here again on next visit to Nairobi. "

"My stay was ok, the location of the Hotel is excellent,However it is missing some basic facilities such as a restaurant, rooms have no bottled water and no Electric kettles to make tea or coffee. I found 2 roaches in the room. No split unit air conditioner or centralised ones. The staff were excellent and very helpful especially one Mr Enock who has an excellent customer care and very handy whenever you need any assistance. The Hotel needs major facelift"

"Well to begin with they were illprepared"! After traveling for 13hours and 15minites the room was not ready. I had to wait 😭 for almost 1hour before I could go in the bathroom had awful sent that was emanating from the I felt sick just being in that room. Went to front desk demanding a transfer to another by the time I got in to #601 there were cockroaches all over it , complained then they send in the fumemigater but the roaches were still there. Noisy"! Very , very noisy place to spend one's...
