Naniwa Holidays

This used to be the Ryokan Tomiya before taken over by M’s Hotel. Our first time staying at an M’s. It happened to be the first day it opened, too, so it was a brand new (renovated) room. The security to get in to the building is great. They hold luggage there for you if you get there early. It is at the northeast corner of Kyoto Station, using exit A5 (stairs only) and it’s immediately on your left side! So, it’s very convenient to get to the train/shinkansen/bus terminals. The room size is phenomenal for the price! So much space to sprawl checked baggage! The double bed performed well, although the head pillows were so soft to the point they flattened and needed to be re-fluffed. The efficiency of the room was amazing! Sink and mirror outside of the bathroom is top notch! Mini-fridge, electric kettle, coffee/tea are available along with their cute mugs. Desk space, two chairs, a small coffee table, one nightstand with a shelf, plugs on both sides of the bed. There is a balcony with safety bars; our view of the city from there was not good, but when you’re exploring Kyoto, it’s a moot point. Overall, cost performance is high! Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Kyoto!

Super close to both USJ and the train station! Very convenient and very cute rooms!

My favorite hotel in Osaka, I stay here every time now. There is a Fantastic food court in Osaka station that’s only a five minute walk. The hotel is New York style, elegant 1930s. So many transportation, opportunities, quiet area. But connected to everything.

Rooms need to be updated. Carpet many stains…

The stay was overall great. 0 complaints and the staff was helpful with directions to my next destination
