“Naples Hotel was a recommendable surprise”
The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It's located in the old city and walking distance to the main museums, rated restaurants, and transit. The rooms were newly renovated and airconditioning worked. Wonderful travel library and good internet connection. They could add a silencer gasket on the breakfast room door, but it was a good place to be at a reasonable price. They had contacts with safe parking offsite. It was expensive but worth not being nervous about breakins in Naples.
“Brilliant Bellini”
An unusual and brilliant hotel, conveniently situated for all parts of the city, tucked away but not hard to find. Great, elegant rooms - ask for piazza side to enjoy street views and sounds (easily shut out, if you wish, with double-glazing and heavy shutters) - an excellent spacious bathroom and effective air-conditioning. Good restaurants and much entertainment close by in the piazza. Easy walk to the Nat Arch Museum (whence, metro to central station for trains to Ercolano, Pompei, Sorrento etc, or even Rome or Salerno if you wish!) and to all points downtown. Felt totally safe at all times. Hotel facilities excellent, good English spoken, ample buffet breakfast (a good assortment, unrestricted, but no protein!) and free internet. Hard to fault and hope to visit again sometime.
“Excellent choice”
Hotel was modern, very clean, and staff extremely helpful. It was quiet and comfortable; breakfast buffet quite good. In a chaotic and noisy city, this was a great hotel.
“Piazza Bellisimo”
The hotel is clean, modern and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The room was more than adequate. I would recommend Piazza Bellini when you are in Naples.
“A Gem”
Hotel Piazza Bellini is a gem. The design is stylish and comfortable, the staff is unfailingly courteous and helpful, the breakfasts are sumptuous, and the location highly convenient. Hope to stay there again soon, for even longer. This is a wonderful base for touring Naples and the surrounding region: a great spot to start and conclude every day.
“A haven of style and comfort”
The minimalist style means you will either love it or hate it. We loved it! All the furnishings and fittings were high quality and extremely comfortable. Its courtyard location meant it was really quiet even though it was at the heart of the old city. Breakfast was decent and there was free internet. Definitely a good choice for a holiday with teenagers.
“The right hotel in the right location.”
We spent a week at the Bellini and found it to be ideal. It is centrally located, with easy access to all the local sights. The hotel was very clean & comfortable. Showers lovely & hot and breakfast was plentiful with good coffee! The staff were all friendly and helpful. For me the only slight whinges were that being on the top floor I was woken several times by heavy rain on the Velux above my bed. But I can't blame the Bellini for the weather! And it was the beginning of March. My son, in the adjacent room wasn't bothered at all by rain on the roof - but he sleeps in the attic room at home so he is used to it. On a few occasions the computer's in the lounge didn't have internet access (but it was good to have a reason to not check my email). Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend the Hotel Piazza Bellini for your trip to Naples.
“Ideal location”
Great minimalist design hotel in an amazing old building downtown Naples. Very comfy beds, helpful personnel. Be prepared that the breakfast (as everywhere in Italy) is very simple.
“Great quirky hotel”
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and were able to assist us with everything we needed. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the location ideal for us as everything was within easy reach - about a 15-20 minute walk to the main tourist centre, port and train station.
“Perfect Hotel in the best position”
Over the last few years my friends and I have visited most of the major cities in Italy. Sooner or later we had to tick the "Naples"& Pompeii" boxes. As a city it is like no other and I'm sure that most people would have read a lot of negative remarks about it. Saying that Piazza Bellini is just in the right place to wander the small streets teaming with people, full of bars, shops and restaurants. The Hotel Piazza Bellini is perfect for a holiday like this. Completely safe, great modern design (Small show of loveliy old Vespas on the 3nd Flloor) and large two storey bedrooms. Good facilites, efficient staff and good breakfast. I would certainly recommend this hotel. Also every room has a safe.
