“DON'T MISS THIS ONE!”
IF YOU LIKE PRETTY, THIS IS IT! CLEAN, WELL APPOINTED ROOM. BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS AND GARDENS, PEACEFUL, GORGEOUS WATERFRONT AND POOL. WONDERFUL STAFF, HELPFUL AND VERY FRIENDLY! YUMMY BREAKFASTS. EVERGLADE CITY NEARBY, AND VERY INTERESTING. PATHS AND SCREENED IN GAZEBO TO MEET FRIENDS IN. HUGE "HACIENDA" TYPE GREETING ROOM. LOVELY MARINA AND SUNSETS..CAN'T ASK FOR MORE! WE'LL BE BACK!
“Great Place”
This place was a little gem, from the recepionist to the guy running the marina shop. Very nice room, comfortable and clean, great continental breakfast (unexpected). No other people around that we saw so really very peaceful. Went to Fish Depot in Everglade City, this was a real experience, a little like stepping back in time.
“Nice Place”
Nice place--nice complimentary breakfast--only problem is that it is about a 30 minute drive to Naples for restaurants, etc.
“can't wait to go back”
We were there in the spring and were very satisfied with the the whole trip, everthing was perfect for two seniors who like to take it easy on vacation. We plan to go back in July because we couldn't wait until winter.
“Great Deal”
Great location, comfortable and well-equipped room, large pool.
“Wonderful”
We knew there was no maid service, unless requested, so this did not matter to us. The staff was very pleasant, the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonable. We went to enjoy our boat and there was a Marina next door. We felt we were in the middle of the Everglades with great amenities. Fishing was great fun. We even played Tennis.
“Best and Quiet Hotel”
This Hotel was wonderful ,very quiet ...but go prepared because is nothing around only everglades . If you are looking for tranquility tham this is the best place .
“Not for Everyone”
We stayed here the week before Xmas, and had the place entirely to ourselves. Even the hotel staff left at 5 PM for the night, and we were the only people in the place! There is no room service, and the restaurant is open only Thurs-Sun. The nearest place to eat is 15 miles away, but the hotel did have a cont. bkfst. But the grounds and facilities are fantastic! The rooms were all redone (paint, furniture, etc) in Jan 07, and I don't think ours had been stayed in since. The pool is beautiful, altho we never used it. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. If you have a boat, bring it! No golf we saw, but easy access to the Everglades. If you have to be waited on, go somewhere else. But if you can get by with a minimum of service and enjoy solitude, this is the place.
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel has the best pool of any hotel I've been to! The pool is big and like bath water. I had a great time at this quiet, relaxing hotel.
“Helpful staff”
My wife and kids became ill during our stay (nothing to do with the hotel). The hotel staff could not do enough to be helpful and accomodating to us. We really appreciated that.
