“A great Christmas week.”
Our stay at the hotel during the week of Christmas was very enjoyable. All of the staff were polite and extremely helpful. The one time we had to call for bath towels, they arrived in less than five minutes. And the casino staff were all delightful!
“overall great - taxi stand problem”
Overall excellent. Most staff were outstanding.Concerns: bathrooms near Grotto pool were FRIGID - several other men there also voiced complaints about this. Room toilet area not cleaned well. Food of course is very pricey. Map of grounds is not as detailed as I would have liked - was hard to find some of the features. Greatest issue: leaving for dinner at Luciano's on 1/15, we asked for a cab at the taxi stand. We were ushered into a limo (unknowing to us) and were charged $25 for a trip that should have been much less expensive, The limo driver (Major) was standing at the taxi stand podium when we walked down, and he was obviously (in retrospect) allowed to take advantage of our naivete by your staff. I asked for a taxi, was directed to him. Irritating.
“WOW, don't miss an opportunity to see Atlantis”
Awesome place, wonderfully service. Staff tried to short change us on a voucher we received from Expedia, after much persistence and requesting for the manager we were finally able to use the voucher that Expedia gave us. A few staff members really bring the place down. The place is EXPENSIVE, $9 for a bottle of water. Stop at a convieniece store and pick up water before heading to Atlantis. Food was great, atmosphere was great.
“Best Family Vacation Ever”
The hotel is a gem. This was our first trip to Atlantis and it will become our annual spring break destination. It is a gorgeous place, family friendly and a good value. The service staff was OK, not what you would expect from a 5 star facility in the states. Since gratuity is automatically added to each tab, there is no need for good customer service. Also our ground transportation, Majestic Tours was so-so. On our return trip to the airport the driver suggested I place my 3 year old on my lap so they could stuff another 3 people on to the bus. He got upset when I balked at his suggestion and reminded him that I paid for his seat in advance. Not cool to mess with the people who supply your salary.
“Spring Break 2012 Vacation”
All of the hotels in the resort were in great shape. The Royal Towers is everything it is made out to be. Very clean, and kept up. The staff from the bellmen, front desk and house keeping were pleasant and willing to provide help when needed. The waterparks were also very clean. You have to get there early to get poolside chairs but that was not a real issue for us. The beach was clean. The people renting jet skis and doing the hair braiding were annoying but not agressive. It seems the people renting jet skis are willing to deal on the price more in the morning. I was able to get a half hour ride for $50. The Atlantis gift shops are really expensive, you are paying for the Atlantis logo on the clothing. We went into town and found more variety and much cheaper prices at the various shops. We also made a trip into town to visit the food market for poptarts, water and other things we could keep in the room.
“Love it!”
The Atlantis Royal Towers hotel was the best. It was very luxurious and family-oriented at the same time. I wish I was still there, but I will definitely be back next year!
“So much to do, great place to do it”
Looking for a vacation with everything, this is it! Beach, Pool, gaming, fish, water sports, great restaurants, sharks, spa, tennis, manta rays, shopping, starbucks, more fish...obviously, I loved it. Going back...Make restaurant reservations whenever possible, they do get busy...a bit pricey, but if you go expecting it, well, paradise isn't free. Rooms are spacious (i was in royal tower), comfortable, the only bad thing about the vacation was leaving. Enjoy!
“Spectacular resort, water features and landscaping”
If you are looking for a one of a kind resort, this is it. The rooms are comfortable, the view is beautiful, and the service is excellent. What makes this place special is the water features. There are numerous water slides for the kids, a choice of swimming pools for the adults, and convenient poolside food stations. But the most spectacular water features are the aquariums with manta rays, sharks, sting rays and huge, colorful fish that you are separated from only by the glass. You can walk thru clear tunnels under the aquariums or watch the seakeepers feed the manta rays and sharks every day. The staff is very friendly and professional. My only complaint was that the food was outragiously expensive. If the resort offered some sort of all-inclusive package option, it might reduce the food cost. I would highly recommend this resort to everyone to visit at least once in their lifetime.
“Great resort”
Very nice resort, great place for a family vacation. Plenty to do for everybody, but be prepared to pay a lot for your meals and drinks.
“Would love to go back”
The Atlantis Resort is a World Class Act. They really put alot of effort in to making this a beautiful resort with plenty of activites for all ages. We spent 7 nights and 8 days and never ran out of things to do. The amenities are really nice. This was the last vacation for my dad and I would've have wanted to take him any where else. I will return to Atlanits as the memories we created were so special. I do think that wheelchairs should not be an extra charge (especially when paying for a premium room at the Royal Towers). I also would like to see the workout center be free of charge. Honestly, it is a little on the expensive side but 100% worth every dime!
