Room was clean and the staff was great but the property needs upgrades. The A/C and heating unit is so loud we had to shut it completely off.

Liked that it was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. For me personally the coffee could have been stronger and scrambled eggs weren’t the best. The boiled eggs were very good. I think it would be better for families if there were rooms with 2 queen size beds per room. Rooms with two single beds or with one queen bed aren’t suitable for families with children. Fine for couples/seniors.

We would have preferred a King but it wasn't available. We were supposed to have a Queen but it seemed small almost like a double. The bed was too soft for this size of bed and we tended to roll to the middle.

Convenient off the highway accommodation. Rooms are outdated and carpet needs to be replaced. Beds also need updating. Very noisy in the hallways. Expensive-$230 for one night for twin beds. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Decent breakfast.

The rooms are hollow, you can hear every door open on the entire floor as if you were right in front of it. The curtains let in so much light that you can hardly sleep upon day break. House keeping woke us up at 8:45 even though checkout isn’t until 11. For the price we had to pay this was not worth it.

The property served it's purpose as decent lodging but there were many truckers in the night and they put me on the ground floor with an internal adjoining door to another room. Din't really feel safe underr those circumstances. 24hr coffee bar good. Breakfast/breakfast room not appealing. Also a/c was old didn't work properly.

Thank you for your recent feedback! Yes, a very large portion of our business is contractors. And thank goodness for that! Without that business we would not survive as the tourist market is substantially down this year in this part Nova Scotia. Even our own Nova Scotians are not travelling due to high fuel costs, high interest rates which leads to high mortgage rates and high rent.Rest assured we offer very safe accommodation. IF we did not, we would not enjoy the high occupancy that we do. There is absolutely no way you could enter your neighbor's room from your adjoining door and they cannot access your room. There is no door knob on the inside that either of you could access and turn to gain entrance to either room.We have had the A/C checked out by a local refrigeration company and they have advised that there is nothing wrong with the unit. Again, thank you for your feedback. We always like to hear from our guests about their experience at our hotel.
