“A French Quarter "best kept secret"”
I visit NOLA often...just because I am close and I love it. I love staying at this hotel. It is in a safe and central French Quarter location. Staff(desk and housekeeping) and valets are the best.....friendly and helpful. Rates are completive and good deals are offered periodically
“LOVED IT!”
The Hotel St. Marie is in GREAT location in the French Quarter. It was an easy walk to everything. Our room overlooked the courtyard and was very quiet. We had a larger room and nice bathroom with dressing area. I would highly recommend this hotel for the cleanliness, location, size, and lovely courtyard with pool.
“Great Style and Convenience near Bourbon Street”
The employees were very helpful, especially on the last few days. It is in a great location to get to the very cool Frenchmen Street, Bourbon Street, and even an easy walk to the Convention Center ... maybe 1 1/2 miles maximum. It is not so close to Bourbon as to be loud. My room overlooked their swimming pool and courtyard. Nice! The restaurant and also the cafe Vachere attached to the hotel was awesome, too.
“Close to everything and everything at the hotel”
Great location! The courtyard is soothlingly quiet and peaceful. Our room was on the top floor and was very quiet. Less than a block from Bourbon Street and close to everything in the French Quarter. AND La Boucherie is a new restaurant. We had happy hour in the bar and the food was great, so we had dinner. About the best meal we had during our 4 day visit. Absolutely tops and very reasonably priced. This was a great stay.

“Great lodging, great value!”
One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in! Everything was in proper working order and the staff was fabulous. GREAT location--half a block off Bourbon Street! The hotel has a bar, restaurant, and sandwich shop--everything you would need. I will definitely stay here again.
“Very clean, very friendly, very classy”
New Orleans is coming back..slowly but surely! The hotel was very comfortable and quaint. Not the usual "hotel" feel, more like a victorian old style old class kind of feel. Very quiet at nite if you want some good sleep as well!
“"Grand Old Hotel"”
We stayed in the annex of this hotel. The annex is an old townhouse that is right next door to the main hotel. It was a charming, but very old place (thus my rating of condition). The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. Our room opened onto a lovely private courtyard with a small fountain in it. The room itself was furnished in antique like furniture. One wall of the room was exposed brick (thus my rating of cleanliness) and the whole room was very Victorian. We loved the room and the fact that we never had people walking in front of our door talking aloud, as usually happens in any hotel. The hotel was only 1/2 block from Bourbon Street and within walking distance of Jackson Park and the French Market. The price of the room was great, although in addition to the price of the room, we had to pay for on site parking. We did have 24 hour access to our car at no additional charge. We would stay there again.
“Perfect location for everything”
this hotel was very convient to everything in the french quarter. My best stay in New Orleans. I was a little apprehensive because I was not sure what to expect since Katrina. Well the people are more friendly than the last times I visited and New Orleans is open for Business!
