“Exceeded my Expectations”
I had a wonderful stay! The staff was GREAT! There was a two front desk agents that I want to give a special Thanks to. I don't know their names, but one had just gotten braces and it was the other young man's last night working at that property. The hotel was extremely clean and I was surprised at the size of the room. I also had a massage and the lady (African American) with blonde hair and a beautiful smile was very nice as well. If ever in the area I will be back. OOOH! I forgot the breakfast crew was AWESOME!
“great stay”
The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. the lobby area is impressive with a warm feel that suggests quality and class. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and the manager's reception is a nice touch.
“Get what you pay for”
Nice Embassy Suites hotel, I found the hotel clean and well maintained. The breakfeast and cocktail hours were as expected.
“Great Value”
The stay at Embassy Suites was one of the best we've had....Clean, Comfortable, Courteous...all in one and to top it off Cooked to order breakfast and an evening reception with snacks (not that great) but snacks and beverages....wine beer, sangria and soda. We would definitely stay here again...close to williamsburg, norfolk,langley, and newport news.
“Small Nitpicks plus kudos”
I only had two small complaints. The first was an insistent hotel maid who kept knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning despite the privacy please sign. She wouldn't stop until we answered the door and told her to come back later. The other small complaint was the coffee shop/gift store in the lobby. It was supposed to be open until 6:00 P.M. everyday, but it was almost always closed. I never did figure out what their actual hours were. One thing that really makes this hotel stand out was the breakfast. This was a full breakfast with eggs, bacon or sausage, etc. There is also a complimentary manager's reception in the evening.
“Still a good choice....”
This is our 2nd visit. Hotel ambiance is nice; staff is always courteous. Complimentary breakfast is nice, but the yogurt had a funny taste and fruit (cut-up melons) were not fresh. The granola was stale. Other food was fine. Vending machines on 2-floors we stayed were sold-out of water, but plentiful with sodas; expensive. Rooms were clean and well appointed. If necessary, we will return there.
“Good value”
Very good value with breakfast and evening get together. I stayed for business and enjoyed the hotel and the convenient central location to where I was meeting clients. I will certainly stay again on my next visit to the Norfolk area.
“Planning another trip very soon.”
The room maintence could be better,had to call for towels to take a shower,no bags in wastebasket,floors were not cieaned,excellent food,excellent and curtious service. I loved the suite. Door to door access to every thing.No major problems.
“My hotel of choice”
Great stay as usual, the hotel is always welcoming and provides a great bang for the buck. The breakfast buffet is awesome, however the long line for omelets can be a little off-putting. However, can you believe that that is the only complaint, waiting for an omelet. You won't be dissappointed with your stay.
“Hampton, VA”
The location was ideal for the purpose of our trip.... a concert at the Hampton Coliseum. I was surprised that the internet was not free and that the charges were per device. The amenities were great and the staff was extremely helpful and very professional. The restaurant was good and prices were extremely affordable.
