“Great stay good price too”
We came from Columbia, SC and enjoyed our stay.If I were to say something negative about the Atuim it would be only one elevator at the hotel. If you come as a family try to stay away from the ALL YOU CAN EAT places.
“Convenient,, comfortable!”
Two blocks from the beach, a pleasant walk in the middle of the strip. It is an older hotel but the rooms were clean, maintenance took care of one small issue almost immediately, and much cheaper place to stay lacking only the beach view. will go back to this hotel in the future!
“I loved the stay!! It's not a HOTEL!!! 4 stars”
Good Stay...however, my interaction with hotel staff was limited because I had everything I needed in my rental apt. That's a good thing I didn't want to have to because the apt has it all. Stores are near by and so is a large supermarket for your groceries (nice walk though.) I loved the fact that all rooms had an outside and inside window view and an area outside your room to relax, if you didn't want to stay in your apt or go outside as yet. Nite life was for the young except the comedy shows. If I needed anything extra like towels I knew to go and get them....if you are looking for hotel catering then go to a hotel. This apt style is right and spacious, love the separate LR/BR and the convenience of two TV's (separate kids and adult, no arguing). the kitchen FANTASTIC! Privacy was great., swimming pool in lobby was a little weird, hard to relax in lobby with that activity behind you. I love it and came back! the following week!THE CONTRACT WEBSITES SHOULD BE CLEARER ON THE FACT THAT ONCE ARRIVE A SEPARATE DEPOSIT ON THE RENTAL for all tenents, REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU PAID BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. I HAD A BIG PROBLEM WITH THAT!!! YOU GET IT BACK, IT'S JUST THAT I DIDNT WANT ANYTHING HELD ON MY CARD! AND THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH/M.O. ONLY CREDIT CARD!!! They were helpful (Ms. Bing) and apologized for the discrepancy, but the manager explained I had to make my complaint of this misinformation through THE SELLER, and she helped me call, but THAT'S another story!
“Very nice hotel, will return”
Very nice hotel. rooms clean, bed comfortable.
“Great Location”
The hotel was in easy walking distance to the beach and to several restaurants. It seemed to be centrally located on the strip and we walked everywhere we went. The only negative was the bed. It wasn't the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and was quite noisy.
“my new VA beach hotel”
the hotel was under construction so the outside looked a little run down but i was very pleased with everything else. the room was very accomidating had everything you could need also very spacious. the staff was extreamely nice and very helpful. the hotel is very well located and easy to find, i will definately recomend to others and will stay there again.
“Great Experience”
I was traveling on business and had to check in early. The staff was most accommodating and let me in my room early. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond the entire stay. The hotel was clean and nice. They were doing a few renovations at the time but kept it out of the way. Will definately return.
“Very Happy”
We go to Va. Beach a few times a year. I have 2 step-daughters who live there, so I am very familiar with the area. I booked this resort last minute and we hit the road. We arrived in town at 10am & the Atrium's check-in is 4pm. I was very happy when they allowed us to go ahead and get in a room after a long night's drive. From check-in to check-out, I was pleased. Their updated rooms were really nice!
“Enjoyed the Sun and Surf”
Overall, our impression of the hotel and the staff was very good. Our biggest concern was that we were traveling with people with special needs and were located on several different floors and in rooms that were no where near each other. While we made do, it would have been more enjoyable had we been located in the same area. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the grounds were easily accessible to all.
“2 Thumbs up!”
The resort was clean and the rooms were a nice size. We had a problem with the air-conditioner, but it was fixed within a day. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room is full of glass furniture and mirrors. I have a 2 year old and was worried she would break something. The warm pool only goes to 4.5 feet, but it was nice. There are adult hours for swimming. I liked the 2 free laundry rooms! The walk to the beach is not bad. The local Wendy's was robbed, and there were cops and a helicopter in the area. It's not a safe neighborhood to walk in at night. McDonalds in right by the resort. There is only 1 vehicle allowed in the parking lot per room. Otherwise, the vehicle will be towed. We had a great time even with Tropical Storm Alberto in town.
