“Very Impressed”
The Hotel was very impressive. The rooms were very large and clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was directly across the street from the Norfolk Scope and centrally located to the shopping mall. I will definitely stay there again.

“Great location”
A/C leaked on carpet in room. Other than that, great place to stay. Short trip to base, and short trip to airport from this hotel.
“Great in spite of renovations”
In spite of the fact that the hotel was undergoing renovations and the city area in and around the hotel was also being renovated, everything about our stay in the hotel was top notch. Service, accomodations and food service were all we could expect. We spent a very enjoyable four days.
“I liked Norfolk”
Staff wonderful, Had problem with A/C. They resolved it by moving me to another room. Older hotel and in center of town so walked a lot to get down to the water , attractions and restaurant area. Hotel near what seemed to be a low income housing area but had no problems. Would like to return to see more of Norfolk.

“Sweet Time In Norfolk!”
A friend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza because it was close to the dock where our yacht was docked for a party we were having. The hotel's location is in a great spot, with Popeye's around the corner. The customer service at the front desk was not pleasing at all, and check-in was very slow. Contrary to the lack of hospitality, the hotel is beautiful and the room we had was spacious. We needed extra towels and they were delivered promptly. Great hotel, great location, for a great price!
“Great for Vendors working at Harborfest and reasonable price!!”
Second year stay in the month of June and will most likely return next year during the Harborfest weekend. Friendly staff and very clean.
“Constructive criticism”
The Black Tuna Restaurant was uninviting due to loud music, low light, no one to attend to us and no other patrons in the restaurant. The night we arrived we were tired and the last thing we wanted to do was to venture out. We arrived at the restaurant and waited for anyone to seat us/serve us/acknowledge us but no one came. We left and had a great dinner at 456 Fish. The restaurant looked like it was set up for a high school prom with the loud music and dark atmosphere. The next morning we asked if the room rate included breakfast , she had to check and finally came back with a yes. At this day and age don;t all restaurants provide breakfast with the rate? If we had not asked, we would not have gotten breakfast. Some patrons were not as lucky--they asked and did not get breakfast with the room. Its confusing for patrons since some get and some don't. When I booked there were not 2 different rates--one w/breakfast and one without. These types of things should be made easier for the patron. I'm used to going up to the front desk where they actually tell you "breakfast is included with your room rate and its from 6:00-11:00." Make it easy for the customer.
“Great place to relax, great area to sight see!”
The hotel was very lovely and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and gorgeous. The bed and pillows were quite nice and the satchel full of goodies to help you sleep better was awesome. The only problem I had was the main way to get in and out of the hotel had about 13 steps, not very many but just enough to annoy you. The surrounding area has everything you can think of as far as restaraunts, entertainment, and leisure. I feel in love with Norfolk on this trip!
