"Hotel is in a great location, across from the water, with great pubs, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and the bed was very comfortable, but the lounge area was not as inviting. The bathrooms and rooms are a little aged. Was expecting a little more modern for the price and brand."

"Loved the facilities. Nice heated pool and spa. The walk to the beach was effortless, pathway all the way and a crossing. The restaurants walking distance too. Amazing quality food. The only thing I was confused about was that the 2 bedroom apartment advertisement stated it comes with shower or bath. I got an apartment with a shower, but that’s okay, just confusing. "The wanderers retreat is a lovely spot. We will definitely be back. It was only a short drive to the town centre but felt like you were out in your own private rainforest. There was so much wildlife. A magpie family that visit several times a day, kookaburras and even a couple of cheeky possums. "

"We has a 3 night stay 22-24 Mach 2024. The resort is very good, pool, spa are excellent. 1/2 court tennis as well. Has a cafe & restaurant (didn't try them). Has a boom gate secure undercover car park - only issue is the narrow car spaces. The resort was full. We came back sat night after 10pm and only 2 car spaces were left. But I couldn't park our medium sedan into any, as large SV's/Utes parked either side. If I parked in the space you couldn't open the door enough to get out. So...
