This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and we are happy with our room (a 2BR and 2 bathrooms) overlooking the pool. The pool and sauna are great. The only downside was the gym because it was very small (our eldest son is a regular gym goer), and also the check-in time was 3 PM (not 2 PM like others), so we had to wait near the pool for our room. The location near the marina, Wollis, dining precinct and Two Bobs bakery (must have). We will come back!

Apartment was clean, crisp white sheets and nothing dirty with good amenities for a few days stay but common area carpets weren’t vacuumed in 4 days with leaves and bugs everywhere. Our room (18) had a stale smell like old cigarette smoke or something very damp inside and reed diffusers had been used to mask the smell. Our stay was ok but we were disappointed in our room. We’ve stayed at heaps of different types of accomo on Nelson bay but nothing beats Mantra. Pool is always beautifully clean, staff are lovely and helpful and the location is the best. Can leave the car parked and walk to everywhere.
