"Place badly needs new curtains. In my three week trip in Norway this place had the lightest room at night easily. Curtains are white which fills the room with light closer to summer solstice. It’s an older house so I wasn’t expecting things to be perfect but that should be a super easy thing to upgrade/replace"

"I didn’t realize it is like a dormitory type. Considering you have to use bathroom in the hall way. This is quite expensive."

The only minor issue is Expedia advertising one price and then charging extra for more than one person. So look at the prices before you book. Not the owners or the propertys fault though. "

"Property was clean and cozy. Location to everything in Bergen is perfect for walks to just about anywhere. Plenty of restaurants and conveniences needed for traveling. Only negative was the neighbors which isn’t the responsibility of the property owner. If you’re a light sleeper such as myself it may be a problem for you. If that’s not you it’s great. "

It's on a beautiful, mountainous fjord with hosts as kind and friendly as anywhere on our planet. The place is a real gem in several ways. "

"The hotel is ok if you need it just for a couple of days. There’s no reception. You check in yourself by taking your key for a locker in front of your room. Room was ok, but it looked quite old. The only problem is the location is quite outside from the center and you need to walk a bit to reach it."

"This is a lovely, remote and charming restaurant with rooms above where we stayed (you can also rent cabins). The rooms on the floor above the restaurant are clean and comfortable but do not have en suite bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are down the hall. However, there is the convenience of being in the same building as the restaurant since there are so few eating establishments in the village. "The views from this guest house are spectacular. Our host, Ian, was attentive, informative, and helpful in every way. The room was very comfortable and well-furnished. There was some confusion in finding the guest house--I forgot to write down the phone number to contact our host--but staff at the nearby hotel helped us find our host.
