"For some reason, we were upgraded from a standard double to a suite with a four poster bed which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are not serviced if your stay is 3 nights or less but you can place rubbish, used towels and toiletries outside your door and they will be removed and replaced. There was a large choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, cereal and cooked items all served buffet style so something for everyone. We went out each day and evening so did not have lunch or evening meal at the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and it was lovely to see the rabbits outside the window each morning and running around the grounds throughout the day. We've stayed here before and are planning to come back and bring the dog next time."

"We had a comfortable stay. Room was nice, especially the soft furnishings. A few minor niggles. Some of the public areas were a bit shabby (it’s an old building) and there was apparently a problem with the drains at the bar toilets. Service was good - very friendly and attentive. Food was decent and good value (especially curry night). Breakfast a bonus with a choice on offer. Vegan and vegetarian no problem at all. We had been before years ago and would stay again."

"Was a lovely clean very comfortable room would definitely stay again minimal breakfast as kitchen was closed so paye for breakfast at the hotel as cheaper than on line...every penny counts 😁"

"The staff were exceptional. Professional, helpful, knowledgeable and cheery. So lovely to stay in quality accommodation with our dog. Clean, fresh and without a trace of any previous pets. Would recommend staying here again without hesitation. "
