“Smallest Hotel Wins the Race”
This hotel was pretty perfect for the location. I wish there had been a slightly less daunting walk to the gates of the park, but the comfort and security of the hotel was worth it. This hotel is pretty small, and the owner seemed to be there most of our trip, and he seemed to keep a good eye on the comings and goings of everyone. The breakfast was pretty varied, they had cereal, Danish, bagels, toast, tons of drinks, and fruit. The rooms were very clean and when we needed towels for the pool, they brought them right away. I would totally stay at this hotel again.
“Would definitely go back”
I absolutely loved this hotel. The room was big and the pool was nice and secluded. There was a small continental breakfast, but still good. Very impressed with the service. I forgot my toothbrush and the front desk gave me one for free. I will definitely stay there again.
“Good hotel...”
Very close to disneyland anaheim, 3 minutes walking distance. Hotel clean and comfy. Didn't really need an hotel service so can't comment, however receptionist was rude - wouldn't let that put me off though, some people just don't have manners! Lots of fast food places nearby to grab a bite to eat (mmmm, taco bell!). I would stay here again - good for price, bearing in mind you only wanna put your head down for the night after disneyland.
“Convenient to Disneyland”
Hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland, or else you can walk partway there, cross the road near the parking structure, and take the tram to Disneyland. Pool is small, but adequate for kids to play in, hot tub is okay, and you can see most of the fireworks at Disneyland from the pool. Breakfast is no great shakes, but supplies some bagged pastries, bananas, and serial. However, if you are planning on a 7 AM Magic Morning, breakfast doesn't open until seven, so you might grab some from the day before.
“bellow best western average rate”
I was looking for reviews about this hotel before booking but could not find to many. Here is mine for your use. The hotel is well located(15 minutes walking to park entry), nice outdoor pool and friendly people. However the quality of the room is lower then any Best western I stayed so far.Everything is old and there was no shower warm water pressure. The breakfast is also poor.I will consider this hotel again only at a price of $55-60
“It's an O.K. hotel”
At check-in, no one was at the front desk and it took a few minutes for someone to help us. However, the front desk person when he did arrive, was very courteous and helpful. The room was decent but the bed was very uncomfortable. My family and I barely slept because of how the bed, blankets, and pillow were not at all comfortable. We used the pool and the jacuzzi and it was an ok experience. The pool is in 'so so' condition and a little dirty with debris. I think it might be from the plants and trees all around it and the pool is really close to the street. The jacuzzi was ok too. It could have been set to a hotter temperature and it too had debris from the plants and trees around the area. Overall, it was an ok stay and I feel very neutral about the hotel experience...I didn't hate or not did I like it. The only plus for us was that we couldn't get a different hotel for our stay for the weekend to go to Disnayland and it was the closests one available from the park at the time of booking. It was close enough and it only took us 5 minutes to drive to the theme park.
“Not very impressive”
The rooms smelled either musty/stale or heavily deodorized, depending on whether they'd just been cleaned or not. The carpets were dirty as well. Upon arriving back to the hotel one afternoon, we were surprised to find 5 people in one of our rooms "cleaning". Two ladies were most likely the maids, but there was also a man, baby and young girl. We felt this was extremely unprofessional, an intrusion on our privacy and not very secure at all. My daughter-in-law and her sister tried to express their concerns with the man at the desk, but he just brushed us off by saying it was faster to clean the rooms that way and that they've been doing it for years. I don't feel like we were being taken very seriously. I won't return to this hotel in the future.
