“Would definitely use again!”

We were very pleased with the accomadations. They were clean, except for a few stains in the carpet. The room was attractive and comfortable. We went to bed early and there was a bit of noise from the roadway, but after we went to sleep we never heard anything.

There were cheaper hotels (aledgedly) in the area but this one was good value, very clean, very quiet and close to the airport.

The hotel is simple but new and extremely clean and neat. It was much nicer than I anticipated for the price. A relative bargain for Oslo. The breakfast was excellent. There is a 60 Kr charge for the bus to and from the airport. The restaurant at the nearby Thon Airport is excellent. I did not receive and answer to my email to the hotel (about the bus) but did immediately from the Thon Oslo Airport

“Great hotel close to Amsterdam airport (Schiphol)”

This hotel was very easy to get to by the bus from the airport and then back again to the airport. It is only a 12 -15 minute bus ride. The layout of the hotel can make your walk to your room very long- ask for a room close to the elevator. The room was very clean and comfortable. I

“Convenient to Airport”

We stayed at Thon Hotel Gardermoen the night before flying out from Oslo. We originally were going to take the train from Oslo, which would have meant a 1.5 mile walk from the station to the hotel, but a friend drove us. Pizza can be delivered, but there is no restaurant for an evening meal. Breakfast was very satisfactory. We had requested a non-smoking room but were given a smoking one. They moved us with no problem. The room was efficient, comfortable and quiet. There is a charge for the airport shuttle.

“EXCELLENT, HOTEL, NEAR AIRPORT WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE”

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The service at front desk was excellent. Breakfast extensive and very good. The hotel was quiet and very clean. We also were able to store our luggage while taking a side trip for 1 week. We used the shuttle service during our stay to reach parts of Oslo, fast train to city & other areas outside Oslo. We would return to this location, plus very convenient to flying in & out of airport.

“A great value hotel at Oslo Airport”

Stayed here for one night as we had an early morning flight out of Oslo Airport. As with everything in Norway the choices of airport hotels were all expensive but this was the cheapest we could find. Marketed as a budget hotel, the Thon Hotel Gardermoen is actually very nice, clean and comfortable (it has only been open for a few years). All rooms have flat screen TVs and are decorated in a modern, Scandinavian style. The best thing about this hotel is that it is the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is about 10 minutes by shuttle bus from the airport and in the middle of nowhere. When we got into our room our ears were ringing as they were not used to such quietness. I'm serious there is no exterior noise at all. All in all a very good hotel for an overnight stay at Oslo Airport, but probably not much use to you if you have business in the city.

“Very good value for money”

Very good airport hotel. Quiet, comfortable room. Although bus expensive at 60krone, (it is Norway!), it was good service as every 15mns from 4.35 am.
