“Overall good value”
The hotel room was nice and clean. There is secure parking and internet, both of which are free. The front desk is helpful. There is nothing around the hotel, you have drive or take a cab to get anywhere, and the train station is just a 5 min. car ride away.
“Excellent choice to visit Venice and a excellent price”
The staff was verx friendly and helpful. As I hate elevator, they were very helpful and gave us a room on the second floor. The room was upper level than the one we had paid for but we were asked no supplement. entry with TV, a room with a double bed and another TV, a first bath room with a tub and a vanity, a second bath room with a shower, a bidet and a toilet. double window, very quiet. large parking place, indoor and outdoor, protected by a gate.
“Isolated location”
I got a really good deal on this hotel through Expedia. It was modern and clean but in an odd location for such a large hotel, in a residential neighborhood about a mile from the main railway station. They seem to accommodate large tour busses, and that is fine. I left my car in the secure garage and took the train to Venice for the day. Service was very good, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. The restaurant is closed for now so you have to dine elsewhere. Wi-fi worked great in the room.
“Rather isolated”
Limited access to bus service - only one bus which came every 30 minutes. Location with more public transport options would be preferred. Some of the front desk staff were not very helpful - suggested taxis not buses when asked about public transportation, others helpful.
“Wouldn't go back”
Cold and impersonal. Little interaction with the staff despite trying. Rooms overlook bus depot where buses start at 6.00am each morning. Felt as though it was inconvenient for us to eat in the resturant. At breakfast not all tables were available and impression was that the staff would prefer that no one wanted breakfast. On arrival resturant not open and nowhere else to eat and staff could not recommend anywhere so had to go to bed hungry. Wouldn't recommend a woman to walk in area in the evening (had to walk through red light area to get to hotel). Need a car or taxi to get to the hotel. Musac in resturant was the usual English pap and would have like to hear the local music.
“good hotel”
the only thing it lacked was people to carry your luggage to an from your room..no "bellboy service' Had dinner in their resturant , was fantanstic, food and servive, could not do enough for you. Breakfast was great, quantiy and quality was there. I will stay there agair
