We arrived late in the evening after a long day travelling to find the owners were waiting for us and gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment is full of character and is in an old 17th century palazzo in a central location. We had a problem with the cooker running out of gas but this was fixed very quickly. "

"And soon as I arrived, I felt at home. Luana is an amazing host. The place is a maze of wonderful Sicilian style. She had me choose which bed I preferred, showed me all of the facilities and was so kind. We get to use the kitchen, there are multiple balconies around the apartment to enjoy a glass of wine or read a book whilst listening to the sound of people on the street. I loved my stay here."

"Good location. Wonderful courtyard and breakfast. Very disappointed with the room - it felt like we had been dumped in the cellar. It was in the back corner, behind the small kitchen that is behind the dining room. It was very dark as it opened out onto the street via an iron gate with dreadful views of graffiti and weeds. We keep the inner door closed so we had no windows. Silly to say it had a terrace. We asked for another room but we were told they were full - although the number of...
