“Gem for an older resort”
When I booked this hotel I did not realize that it was such an old establishment. After being told that it had been around for over 50 years I felt like I was a little more forgiving to the condition of the rooms. Yes they are renovated but definitely could use some fine tuning. The bathtubs are "old school"! No soaker tubs here.... The grounds are absolutely beautiful.... Amazing trees, flowers & the most comfortable hammocks placed through out the resort! Sun, shade, take your pick. The staff went above and beyond to keep us happy. The food was great. In room, in the restaurant & poolside. No complaints. We would stay here again for sure. I can easily get past the older exterior. What it lacks in youthfulness it makes up with it's maturity!!!
“Perfect couples retreat!”
The salt water pool was fabulous, and the couples spa experience was one to remember. We will absolutely be returning to Miramonte on our next trip to Palm Springs.
“Very nice hotel, we would consider staying again”
Staff were very friendly and informative. Beds were very comfortable. Grounds and room were very beautiful. Unfortunately, the walls were thin and we could hear people ringing doorbells and opening and closing doors. Grout was loose on the bathroom floor.
“Beautiful Oasis on Edge of Palm Springs Metro Area”
Lovely and impeccably kept grounds, great breakfast, nice staff. There were nooks and crannies everywhere in the gardens to relax, have a chimnea fire, have conversations, read a book, they were scattered all over including hammocks. It was a joy to walk the grounds every day. The pool was nice and had pleasant surroundings - the pool waitstaff were wonderful and the food delicious and priced well (great drinks!). Very pretty to be at (and our little cafe table and chair on our patio was a nice addition). They squeezed us in through Expeida at the last minute during a sold out city-wide tennis tournament when no one else could help us (and we had another hotel calling all over on our behalf - than goodness for Expedia!! The hotel is on the far end away from downtown Palm Springs, but the drive wasn't that bad if you used the road in front of the hotel and NOT the freeway, so it really was easy to get around overall. The main disappointment is that there is NO room service after 11pm and the bar also closed at 10pm - so there was no food and we checked in late and were starving. Had to go to a Dennys(!!!) as it was the only thing open in the area as it really is "on the edge of it all" and we should have eaten in downtown PS before we headed to the hotel. I can't believe for such a wonderful resort that they couldn't have a limited "after hours" room service menu available!! Even lower end hotels have had that. And the bar should have been open later on a weekend!
“Best in the valley”
This is the BEST hotel in the Palm Springs/Palm Desret area. Adults without kiids should stay in the back of the resort by the 'adult pool' which is small but very quiet. Everything about this place gets better every year. We used to alternate between the Miramonte and the Westin, but no more. We are hooked on the "M". The Continental breakfast at $14 is really a steal when you see how much foor and fruit you get. 5-day saty with zero complaints.
“perfect place for family trip”
Comfortable, clean, perfect location for my family. Overall it was fantastic
“Awesome Spa.”
Great hotel! It´s nicer than how it looks in the pictures. Very good location.
“One of the most lovely Palm Desert Resorts”
My recent stay at the Miramonte Resort was fabulous. I went to get some sunshine and relax as a single woman and felt very safe. It is a nice mix of mostly couples, families, and "girls weekend getaway". My room was situated near the back of the resort and very peaceful. An adult only pool is nicely situated well away from the larger "family" pool with no distractions. The grounds were immaculate! Amazing flower gardens and Villa's. Not your usual highrise resort experience. I was not impressed with some of the surrounding resorts I visited at all. They are of no comparison! The staff was friendly and attentive, although room clean up could have been better. Seems unless you call them, they don't stop in to make the bed or refresh coffee, towels, sundries etc. It was not a big deal for me as I had enough of what I needed. They were very prompt when I did call and ask for anything however. The food was delicious at the resort, and drinks were done well. I really did not even want to go sight seeing I was so comfortable here. Put into words, "complete serenity"! My only reserve is the nightly "Hotel fee" and parking charge. I know they have to pay a lot of staff to keep this resort tip top, but I think it would be better accepted by raising the room rate by $25 a night instead. Over all, I would go back in a heart beat! Clean, no bugs, just beauty all around you! I would highly recommend this resort to any one. Very romantic for those looking to spice up the relationship.
“Spring Break”
It was a wonderful place to spend with our family.
“This place was absolutely the best deal for our money!!!”
We arrived at the hotel early on Saturday, Memorial Day weekend, and our room was not ready (which was absolutely fine!). We had lunch in their dining room, which was delicious ... the restaurant is really quite high quality, the food really fresh, and the staff were so nice. Our room was quite large, our requests (non-smoking and 2 beds) were accommodated, with no issue whatsoever; there are two pools - the family pool (with kids) and the adult pool (no children); everything is within walking distance around the hotel ... room service is expensive - the tack on a $3 delivery service AND a 20% tip - but we only ordered the first night. Definitely a great place, it was immaculately clean, the grounds were beautiful, lots of parking and friendly faces! They always have ice cold water (with lemon, lime and mint) available all day long at the pools;
