“Does exactly what it says on the tin”
Perfect for a chill out holiday - exceptionally good value. 15 minutes walk to bars / restaurants. Apartments cleaned everyday. Lovely pool and chill out area. Cocktails and wine tasting on Fridays.
“love it want to go again!!!”
love it love it!!! One of the best hotels I have every stayed in and not just due to the accomodation but because of the excellent staff and food.We booked this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis and sorely wished we had done half board. The greetings and enthusiasm of staff was beyond what was expected. The food was fresh and tasty with a wide range of choice for all (sweets were gorgeous).Yes there may be a few cats(which i hate)and it may not be close to the harbour(15min walk)but the grounds are well kept and swimming pool lovely.
“Excellent value for money and I'd thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing week's holiday.”
The reviews on tripadvisor were excellent and I was pleased to report that I wasn't disappointed by this hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and I'd recommend going through them for the car hire service. The outdoor pool was very cold at this time of year (end of march) but there's an indoor pool/jacuzi. I would definitely recommend this hotel any time and tomb of the kings, the harbour, the mosaics and pafos old town were all within walking distance. And buses to Coral Bay and the airport weren't too far away either.
“Paphos”
Hotel was extremely good for the price.
“Excellent Must Stay!”
I picked the King Jason for the good reviews I had seen and was not disappointed. The accommodation was first class, the food was great and the staff are fantastic. The King Jason is run like a 5 star hotel, but luckily the price isn't 5 star. The attention to detail and attitude of the staff are second to none, nothing was too much trouble. I particularly enjoyed the free wine tasting evening! The manager Andreas runs the hotel like clockwork, but with a very human touch, I will definitely look at staying at other Louis Hotels in the future.
“Fab”
The hotel experience was wonderful. It is child friendly and oveall family friendly. The staff at reception were wonderful to guide you for local tourism option. Swimming pools both indoor and outdoor were great. Indoor has Jacuzi, but timings were from 08.00 am to 08.00 pm, which has scope fo improvement. Gym is a bit out of date and some new gadgets are needed. A local store is round the corner and a fish tavern 100 mts away which is just awesome.
“Excellent Service”
Worthy of the good reviews I read before booking this hotel. We were greeted by orange juice and nibbles whilst checking in which was the start of a good stay at the Louis King Jason. The rooms, being self catering were large and had all conveniences including ironing board and iron. Breakfast was an optional extra but we enjoyed this three times during our stay together with dinner on our first night. The food was good quality and once again the service could not be faulted. It seemed we had our own personal waiter! Although we did not try out the fracilities the pool and lounge area were both inviting and clean. A hotel well worth staying at and good value for money.
“The Hospitality Hotel par excellence”
A difficult place to find and first impressions on entering the neighbourhood are misleading. The hotel itself is a gem with one of the best restaurants in town, but only for the residents. The staff are all friendly and helpful, ably led by their jovial manager. Everything is well organised and clean. If you hire a car then the only problem is trying to find the place. Try using Google maps or Google earth or any other sreet gazetteer in Cyprus! A Sat/Nav device is useless so your back to using paper maps and even these miss many places. This matter is more than made up for by the Cypriot people who are generous hosts and great fun to be with. Definitely worth a visit.
“Early Season Break ( Jan - Feb )”
This apart - hotel offers extremely good value for money. The apartments are spacious and well equipped though the heating could have been on for longer in the evenings. ( the outside temperatures were in single figures in the evenings when we were there ). The location is quiet , not in a touristy area, but both the "Tourist Area" and the "Real Town" are within easy walking distance ( or car if you prefer ). We were welcomed at reception with a refreshment and our baggage was taken to our apartment by one of the staff. ( never had this before !! )
“Friendly Hotel in Paphos”
Very friendly hotel. You are really welcomed on arrival - AND to be honest it really does seem sincere . The manager introduced himself + immediate staff and offered a welcoming glass of juice - Though I really didn't get the chance to drink it as I was wisked away to my room by a very friendly porter! Apartment was just as i had anticipated Fairly roomy, bit sparse on decoration; sofa (beds) were a bit hard to get comfortable on unless you lay down: Kitchen was well equipped with fridge, kettle, toaster, enough pots n pans to cook a decent meal - food prices in the nearby supermarkets frequented by locals are quite steep though. My apartment - no 42 at the end of the complex was beside a noisy main road and views from the balcony weren't that inspiring a hedge on one side and the yard below However other apartments had views over the nice pool. There's a handy shop on site nr reception open daily till about 4pm (I was there over halloween) Very friendly lady manages it. She is very approachable and like all staff has impeccable English - though do try to say a few words in Greek as it really is appreciated! The hotel itself is set right between the main town and the harbour area of Paphos in a residential district Its a10 mins walk left at the main road to the Harbour area and 20 mins walk to the right into the town centre. Restaurants and bars en route too. Would recommend the hotel but bit disappointed with overkill of Brit Pubs etc which killed the Greek character a lot!!
