“Great Location”
The location was great, about halfway between the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. The hotel staff was really helpful with any questions that I had about french customs and the metro system or anything else. I would highly recomend this hotel to others, the rooms are not huge, but they were kept extremely clean. The big sell was the location for us, since we didn't rent a car, it was great to have everything within walking distance or a quick ride on the metro.
“Best hotel I have stayed in. For complete charm and comfort - stay here”
This hotel is right opposite a metro exit which makes it very easy to get to. The surrounding area is great as there are plenty of nice places to eat, great bakeries and other shops. More importantly the location sets you up for seeing all of the sights of Paris. Upon checking in, we were shown our room which was incredible. The comfort of the bed was great, there were even candles in the bathroom. As well as having digital TV, the room also had an iPod dock which was very handy. A great suprise was to return in the evening and find our bed was turned down and two small sweets were left on the pillow. I cannot fault this hotel - it has everything you need and is in the best location. The rooms are extremely comftable and the staff are exceptionally helpful. Thank you for making our Paris trip very memorable.
“Charming, and convenient.”
The Hotel Latour Maubourg was a beautiful converted mansion in the 7th arrondissemnet. Walking distance to many major attractions as well as the St Germain du pres area itself, it gave a very authentic French feel to our visit.
“Great Location with lots of Charm”
A charming, clean and comfortable hotel with excellent staff. Location is superb, Metro is across the street. Museums and Eifel within walking distance, great neighbourhood-good eats.
“A clean, romantic hotel very close to the metro”
The good: Across the street from the Latour-Marbourg metro stop It seemed like they vacuumed our room every day Plenty of closet space Our room looked like it was decorated by Prince. In a good way. Good for us, anyway. Lots of electrical outlets The restaurant next door is great, and attracts Ferrari enthusiasts The bad: Since the hotel is so close to the metro, you can hear the trains pass underneath the building Way too expensive breakfast - we didn't have it once. Try a bakery a bit down on Rue de Latour-Marbourg instead Those Euro-style showers that make you flood the bathroom like every time
“Great staff, lovely decor, but other guests too noisy”
This is a delightful little hotel tucked away in a sidestreet, not far from the Seine and not too far from the Eiffel Tower. It looks once to have been a house that has been converted into a hotel, so there is a certain quirkiness to it: little stairwells leading up and down, winding corridors, and oddly shaped rooms. The general decor has been very nicely updated, and I appreciated the free access to a laptop computer and printer, alongside a selection of pastries so you could chew and browse at the same time. All the staff I dealt with during my stay (4 days) were absolutely wonderful and helped me with everything I needed. My only complaint, and the only reason I probably would not go back, was that the former function of the building meant that rooms were limited in size and had very thin walls, and on two nights I was kept awake by the people in the next room engaging in loud activities (yes, you get my meaning!).
“Paris Honeymoon Hotel”
This small but charming hotel is ideally located directly opposite the tube station of the same name. Clean and staff very helpful. Provided a complimentary bottle of champagne and card on our arrival. Nice park opposite and lots of cafe/shops/bars all within a short distance (as well as the Eiffel Tower) but nice and quiet in the hotel itself. Our room itself was small (but aren't they all in Paris) but immaculately clean and had nice decor - overall we were very satisfied with the hotel/location and would definately recommend it to anyone choosing to visit Paris for a few days.
“Cozy Place to Stay in Paris”
We stayed on the third floor which was a bit of a walk up but not too bad. The room was small but totally adequate for 2 people for a short amount of time. We were in walking proximity of all the major Parisienne attractions. Close to the Eiffel Tower. The staff was so helpful; they spoke English and made numerous calls for us confirming reservations, arranging taxis, making dinner reservations. They are excellent.
“great location”
You can't find a better location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, bathrooms are new but the room #16 were we stayed is extremely small. It would be very small even for 1 person but for 2 it is impossible. Out friends were staying in #3 - behind the front desk - this room is acceptable but a little noisier.
