Castello di Monterone
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, 261 reviews
"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. Had a great nights sleep and breakfast was a huge choice of self serve items. Lots of home made unusual choices. Loved our unique castle...

Castello di Monterone
Hotel Fortuna
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, 459 reviews
"Excellent central location and friendly, helpful staff. A quirky place to stay with a frescoed library/sitting area and highly decorated breakfast room. Our executive room was frankly not of executive standard with tiny bathroom and odd layout. As some compensation for this, the view from the balcony over the rooftops of Perugia to the Umbrian countryside beyond was breathtakingly beautiful."
