"Lovely historic hotel right in the heart of Oundle town. Friendly staff, comfortable room (although no aircon due to the age and architecture I would assume). Good breakfast and nice outdoor areas to have a drink."

"Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, only downside was the lorries parked not far from our window and starting up during the night. Other than that very clean and comfortable, we would stay again but get a room in a different location of the hotel."

"Lack if directions to the car park . Had to phone hotel and the young lady couldnt really explain either had to ask a road worker . "

"Have stayed a few times over the years, the room was nice, but could do with a make over, and the shower needs something doing with it, it isn't a walk in shower, more like a climb in. Food in the restaurant was delicious, even though there wasn't a big choice, it was all delicious, the chef even made fresh apple sauce for one of the party. Hopefully next time we stay, we will see a difference min the room "
