"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. "Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, only downside was the lorries parked not far from our window and starting up during the night. Other than that very clean and comfortable, we would stay again but get a room in a different location of the hotel."

"The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long. She is really professional, polite and welcoming. Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays. No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard. Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced. Didn’t try the...

"Lack if directions to the car park . Had to phone hotel and the young lady couldnt really explain either had to ask a road worker . "

"Have stayed a few times over the years, the room was nice, but could do with a make over, and the shower needs something doing with it, it isn't a walk in shower, more like a climb in. Food in the restaurant was delicious, even though there wasn't a big choice, it was all delicious, the chef even made fresh apple sauce for one of the party. Hopefully next time we stay, we will see a difference min the room "

"Staff on reception were very warm and welcoming. Lovely room. Nice and spacious, little underwhelmed by the bath as the button to operate the jets wasn’t working properly. Would have been nice to have Netflix on the TV too!"

"The rooms were fine. The service at the hotel was fine. Quiet rooms. There is no hot breakfast!! There is no restaurant. Otherwise everything was fine."
