Property Amenities
Located two miles from downtown Scottsdale and four miles from Arizona State University, the 3 Palms is adjacent to the beautiful, 60-acre El Dorado Park, which has two lakes, sports fields, and an outdoor amphitheater.
The low-rise adobe structure includes a sundeck and an outdoor pool and oversized spa tub with poolside food and beverage service. A small fitness room provides cardio and strength-training equipment.
The business center and guest lounge provides computers with printing capability, and faxing services are available at the front desk. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Self parking is complimentary.
Rooms
The 3 Palms' 123 nonsmoking guestrooms and suites all feature views of the city, courtyard, or mountain. Rooms are located in a two-story building with exterior corridors and no elevators. Room decor includes sleek, modern furnishings and artwork and granite countertops. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, 400-thread-count Egyptian-cotton linens, and down duvets and pillows.
Equipped with surround sound, entertainment centers have 27-inch flat-screen TVs with HBO and Showtime and DVD/CD players. Other amenities include complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access; refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee/tea makers. Cribs are available on request.

Avalon - The hotel's restaurant serves Contemporary American Coastal Cuisine and is open from 11 a.m. to midnight for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room service is also offered from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Recreation
Guests enjoy an outdoor pool and spa tub and fitness center with cardio and strength-training machines.
Spanning 60 acres, the adjacent El Dorado Park offers picnic areas, sports fields, basketball and sand-volleyball courts, an outdoor amphitheater, swimming pool, two lakes, playgrounds, and a 5K running course.
There are numerous public golf courses in the area, including Coronado Golf Course (two miles), Continental Golf Course (four miles), and Arizona State University's Karsten Golf Course (four miles).

“A Great Value, and some...”
The hotel was clean, maintained, and comforting. The hotel showed a little wear, but the important stuff has been updated like TV, lighting, and beds. The location was great. I also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and exercise room. The hotel was a great value and would recommend to any of my friends and family. The walls are little thin, but you can always ask for second floor.

Way exceeded out exections. At this price we expected dumpier...,.but it was super! Would stay here again and highly recommend it to friends.

Good value for the money. Very quiet especially at night. Extra large Jacuzzi. Wendy at the front desk was very helpful. Old Town Scottsdale is less then 2 miles away with plenty of restaurants and galleries. Our suite had 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and 2 flat screen TVs.

I continue to stay at this hotel during my monthly trips to Phoenix. It is not a fancy hotel but it is very clean, well maintained and the staff is quite helpful and responsive. I think generally it is an older property and the stucco needs some repair work on the back side of the hotel/motel facilities. The rails of the walkway to the street need to be painted and maybe repaired some. But it is not very noticeable; the stucco is noticeable. I also feel that the plumbing needs some attention relative to drainage. That is a recurring complaint for the bath sinks and bath tubs. But as soon as I mention it, it gets attention. I would prefer more traditional decor theme but it is very well done and attractive, modern.

This was a great experience. I drove in from New Mexico for an interview, I thought I was going to have to change and get ready in my car or a bathroom. I decided to stop by the hotel first, we got in about 1130 and checkin wasnt til 3. My interview was at 2, I had no problems checking in early and able to get ready for my interview. It really made it a nice visit, I would absolutely stay there again!
“Superb Spring Training Locale”
Very good hotel at a reasonable price. The hotel appears to be very new. Excellent pool area. Big screen TVs with DVD players. Two miles+/- from Old Town Scottsdale, so you will need to catch a cab, a little far to walk. Sometimes waiting for the taxi is annoying, but the staff is very helpful and responsive in following up with the taxi company. Wendy was very helpful in checking us in, obtaining room location, and answering our questions. Based upon price, the "newness" factor, and quality of the "extras", I would stay here again

The room was really clean and comfortable. The decor was nice and modern. The receptionist was friendly. Overall, I had a great stay and was very happy with the service.

I booked this hotel for a last minute trip. The staff was friendly and efficient at checking me in and out. The room was immaculate and I like the updated contemporary look. The bed was extremely comfortable. I like that it was right next to the park where I could get a quick run in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel.
