"We stayed for a week and had a brilliant time. The pool was great and plenty of sunbeds to use and the fact that they could not be reserved was also a bonus. The room was lovely and the beds were made every day and we came back one afternoon to a bottle of fizz in an ice bucket compliments of the hotel for my birthday - this was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back!"

"The hotel was extremely beautiful and the landscaping added to its relaxing ambience. The staff were so polite, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food and drinks were amazing. "The Wi-Fi was not working for four days, and the issue was still not resolved by the time we left. We have stayed at Axel hotels several times in the past and have generally had good experiences. However, this was by far the worst experience we’ve had regarding Wi-Fi service. As frequent travelers, we rely on internet access during every trip, so the lack of a working connection throughout most of our stay was extremely frustrating and disappointing."

"Feels a bit harsh not to give it as what I going to moan about really can't be helped It's situated on a main road so being on the balcony can be noise and down by the pool you are getting fumes from the road. It's centre based tho so to be expected. Room was great and clean - didn't find it dated like some suggest. Plenty of sun loungers and staff especially housekeeping where very friendly. Suppose the question is would I go back there and the answer is yes. Supposedly a star rating lower to a local hotel within the same brand. You wouldn't know it. 👏 Breakfast was the buffet was all know and love these days."
